Is this your homework, Larry?
Might as well be.
I'm not sure if I should say thankfully I don't have homework or unfortunately I don't have homework.
My mother takes an on-line classes these days. She even has one on Sundays. Good for her.

If you live in an apartment you have to deal with things like cooking smells. And noise. There’s a limit - just like a neighborhood with, say, loud music past 11 pm - but complaining about the smell of bacon isn’t in that limit.
Either accept communal living or move.
I am in complete agreement.
Only exception is if someone constantly burns their food. Then they probably should be called out on it, shouldn't be cooking, and one has to consider when it might be a legitimate fire hazard/concern.

I would think if all expenses were paid he/she would have a lot of people who would be willing to do it.
Heck, if the person was paying $500 + expenses I would think someone might even offer to stop and take a dump if they wanted him/her to.

Grandma in a nutshell volume 1,983,547......
Grandma cooking bacon.
Knock on my door.
Grandma - "Hello"
Male neighbor - "You really need to do something about your cooking odor, it's all over the 50th floor".
Grandma - "I'm very sorry! I lit a candle, I put the fan on over the stove, and I opened a window. I'm not sure what else I can do".
Neighbor - "Well, you have to do something".
Grandma - "Ok, once again I am sorry. Just out of curiosity, the two girls down the hall who cook fish 2 or 3 times a week, do you knock on their door too"?
Neighbor - Blank stare
Grandma - "Yes or no"?
Neighbor - "Their fish doesn't smell as bad".
Grandma - "I beg to differ".
Neighbor - Blank stare
Grandma - "Alright, not sure what else I can do or say other than I am sorry. Would it help if I sprayed air freshener in the hallway"?
Neighbor - Blank stare
Grandma - "You'll excuse me, I'm going to eat my bacon. Would you like some"?
Neighbor - Blank stare.
Grandma - "I hope your day gets better". Closes door.
Not sure either of us were assholes in this situation but bigger asshole - me or him?

In my world Illinois vegans are worse than a ___________ carnivore but I'm still tolerant of them.
Reminds me of the joke that's not really a joke. How do you know if someone is a vegan/vegetarian?
They tell, and tell you, and tell you.
The not funny thing is this guy and I usually get along pretty well. He's a friendly guy.
I think he has another residence and uses his apartment primarily for work/business.
Not sure what he was doing in there on a Sunday.
Side note 1 - I have NEVER smelled a "cooking odor" from his apartment.
Side note 2 - When I take a dump I leave my bathroom door open. I wonder why he hasn't knocked on my front door complaining of my dump odor.
I imagine this is what one of my neighbors looks like when walking by my apartment after I take a dump.

Not sure what you are getting at.
0?

Is there a correct exact answer to your question?

The only thing wrong with veganism is the vegans.
What’s the difference between a vegan and God?
God doesn’t think he’s a vegan.
How many vegans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Just one: they hold the bulb up to the socket then the world revolves around them.

the correct answers are 1) a lot, and 2) more than the majority of vegans realize or care to admit
i don’t want to vilify all of them, particularly those that either grow their own food or obtain their food though responsible means, but...
many, if not most, vegans buy their food from grocery stores. that food is produced via the massive agri-business model. habitats (and the animals that once resided in them) were destroyed to convert land for agricultural purposes. annually, insecticides/pesticides are applied liberally to those crops. but, nobody sheds a tear over the invertebrates that succumb to the process.
the overwhelming majority of vegans (~90% by some estimates) chose to be so out of misplaced compassion for “animals”. i say misplaced because it seems the only animals they care about are those that are produced via the agri-business model (cows, pigs, chickens, etc.)
the “problem” isn’t that we eat meat, in and of itself...it’s that 1) we eat too much meat (as a society), and 2) “we” aren’t responsible in the way we produce the majority of the meat we consume

I remember this one time when my little brother was like 5 he put a cookie in the microwave for like 3 hours and almost burned down the house.

You are 100% correct about the Horatio Magellan Crunch part but on the box and the way he has been addressed - he is referred to as Cap'n Crunch.
Therefore, I wonder if his full name is really Captain Horatio Magellan Crunch or Cap'n Horatio Magellan Crunch.
