and i know that doesn’t describe all pro-lifers
for me, i just don’t think abortion should be used as a means of birth control...i’m proud-choice, but generally anti-abortion
Where's the Pro-Life thread?

Never let agreeing get in the way of an opportunity to argue!

You’re good bro. Thanks for actually responding when asked.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 11:17 amThey are worth repsonding to. And i did so sincerely (especially initially).
It’s the other posters who are so quick to call me dumb even though they won’t (or can’t?) explain their own position that really make me giggle.

Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
I was trying to suggest some correlation between the pro-life movement and economics or classism, but apparently it’s a difficult discussion to have.
Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
i don’t think the pro-life people are thinking that far ahead
Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
I explained my position mumtiple times. None of them needed to specifically address your nonsense post about cheap labor being the driving force behind the peo life movement. Why would anyone put any effort into a sincere response to a post that, in itself, was not sincere.
*if that post WAS sincere....then by god you and lobs should lock yourselfs in an octagon of intelligence and debate until only 1 site clown emerges.

Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
It's a difficult discussion to have = I just make some shit up to misrepresent the beliefs of people I detest to make myself look smart and virtuous and then thought people would engage in a discourse about it.

it's called trolling the waters.
Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
I was at a bar, talking to this hippie chick last night. She said that all people who are pro-choice just want to murder babies, and most support infanticide. In fact, they want ALL pregnancies to be terminated, even the wanted ones. Their motivation, of course, is shorter wait times at the DMV.
What do you guys think? Let's have some intellectual dialogue about the bullshit I just posted.

Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
I don't know the pro life/pro choice stance of the vast majority of people that I know. It's not exactly a conversation we have.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 10:49 am You guys seriously don't know any non religious people who are pro life?

thank god he didn’t try to start a conversation about something truly worthwhile...like half donuts
Re: Where's the Pro-Life thread?
We live in an insane world full of every flavor of kook imaginable and I have a vivid imagination so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few weirdos out there who see "more low class workers" as a fringe benefit of not allowing abortions. But I certainly don't think it is any more than a few true loonies let alone a driving reason behind it.
It seems that the driving force behind it is simply "because my pastor said it is bad."
