That's really dumb.

The primary language of power, business and money in this country is English. Learn it, teach it. Lowering that bar only lowers the potential to truly succeed.

On a semi-related note....
If I am not mistaken (I very well may be), I believe there were some schools in this country that made learning "Ebonics" a necessity for their students. I would have pretended that I learned Ebonics and then my brain couldn't revert back. That would have been interesting.
