That being said, supposedly easiest schedule from this point on.

Don’t know how with Bills, Bucs and Saints left. However, only 2 teams with a winning record in Buffalo and Tampa.

Really?
Like you said Bucs, Saints, Bills.
You'd figure an NFC East team would by default have the easiest schedule since all 4 teams suck so hard.

Stephen Gilmore tested positive for COVID the day after the game with the Chiefs. Awesome.

2020 - The year that fucked Kansas Basketball out of a possible (probable) championship and very well may end up fucking the Kansas City Chiefs out of a championship.
Thankfully it did nothing to the Royals?

Zero way the NFL will cancel their season. ZERO. They will and they should move to a bubble format ASAP along with reducing the amount of games. It was foolish to think they could try and play a full season without putting guys in a bubble. Their protocols aren't working.

Surprised the NFL doesn't make face shields a requirement during play. Seems it could be pretty easily accomplished and not have other players breathing in your face.

The rational thing to do would be to immediately postpone all league activities for two weeks, and hotel everyone up for the duration.

I know that (1) sucks ass, and (2) costs a lot of money.

But: (1) grow up, that's just how it's got to be if you want to get paid this year (and accrue the service year), and (2) non-issue when the alternative is shutting down.

I think this will happen. Whether it be doing the shield on the bottom part of the helmet or actually ahve a mask (gaiter mask or the like) And I think after game greetings will disappear as well.

They've kind of done business as usual during the games, and that won't fly. Baseball switches out their baseballs after a certain amount of people have touched the ball and NFL can't do a bubble like NBA and NHL did, so they have to change up what they do during the game.

This x 10000.

In theory this shouldn't be that difficult. You call the NFLPA and have them relay to the players this isn't working. The only way this will work is if we move to a bubble format. If you want to opt out you can. Owners need to find a large enough hotel to accommodate a team and staff and the same needs to be done when you have a team that visits your city. I would also strongly consider reducing the regular season as well. It is going to be hard to get by in from players from the Falcons, Jets, Jags, etc. Best case scenario by the playoffs if the virus is more manageable then you allow things to resume as normal.

Can't imagine finding hotel space right now will be difficult.
