The hornets take another guard?
What is their plan? Lamelo, Rozier, Devonte, and now Bouknight?

For real though if “Trey” is a nickname for somebody who’s “the Third” in a series of names, is “Trey III” like the third third? The sixth? The ninth? The sixtyninth?
Is Trey III otherwise kinda redundant?
Maybe his parents were/are just big Phish fans?
btw Trey Anastastio’s real name is Ernest

Favors traded along with a 1st rounder from Jazz to Thunder.
At what point do those picks turn into players?

Cap dump to bring back Conley.

So Och obviously the best prospect, and his stock has risen since last draft. I think he could exhibit more ball skills, but even just as an athletic shooter that should be good for, say, late 1st to early 2nd.
Right now, CB and Jalen prob both in the 2nd round-undrafted range. Both need to shows they’re better shooters, but neither has taken a yuge leap in 3%
I’m intrigued by Jalen’s ball skills, above average for a 6’8” tweener, but also
Don’t know if that’s enough to make a splash in the big league.
I love love love CB dunking on bitches and running his mouth, but that’s happened less and less lately. His numbers took a slight dip and he’s scored at the rim less now that we’re playing P5 conference games rather than noncon midmajors.
But yeah both prob need more than anything to show they’re legit nba range shooters. And also show they can effectively guard at the nba level too.
And besides Yes being an obvious lotto pick to GM Randy, I dunno if anyone else makes league.

I don't see Wilson getting drafted. Braun maybe if he starts shooting threes and making them again.

Also what a strange analysis of JW.
If by not making a leap in 3pt shooting you meant shooting 10% lower than his less than inspiring 33% last year.

I mean, second round at best right now.
But I feel like folks are sleeping on Jalen.
Been our leading scorer 3 of the past 4 games, plus rebounds and assists too.
If he was some white kid from ks some of you roibois would be beside yallselves.

Wilson's really fast and coordinated, especially with the ball in his hands, for a 6'8" dude. I think he's a pro if he improves his shooting.

I feel confident Ochai is a 1st round lock.
I think CB could surprise by going early 2nd - I think if he left he'd be drafted.
Wilson has more NBA potential imo than Braun because he can shot create better and cut/maneuver to the hoop better ( rather than straight line speed ) but he's not ready yet.
I think both CB and Wilson have a good amount to gain in coming back.
We'll see how the next 2.5 months plays out.

Just don't know who he guards in the NBA. And he's not faster than NBA 4s like he is college 4s. He's more an NBA 3 than 4. And that matches him up with 2 stringer 6th man types like Oubre who would absolutely eat him alive.
And is he fast for a 6'8 guy by NBA standards. He isn't very bouncy.

Wilson is my boy but Braun is just playing better overall.
There's no doubt in that whatsoever.
Braun's leading us in blocks, he's only slightly behind Wilson in RPG and is averaging 15.6 PPG on 54% FG.
I do think the missing games did hurt Wilson early but he seems to be coming on right when we want him to.
