What I found crazy was how the 49ers were stalling trying to run the clock before they scored - and then they scored too soon - and left plenty (or at least enough) of time for Rodgers to do his magic.
Hard to blame Juszczyk for trying to score but I can't help and wonder if he was fully aware of the situation.
Now do "he took a knee at the one and then the team fumbled of failed on their next attempt and then had the FG blocked/miss".
There were 37 seconds left. Scoring the go ahead score was the right call. At some point, you have to trust that your really good defense can prevent a team from going 40+ yards in less than 37 seconds with no timeouts.
You're 100% right and we could come up with ifs and buts all day long. Problem for the 49ers was they lost because of its and buts.
I thought they lost because they left the best WR in the game wide open 20+ yards down the field twice in a row but whatever.

Man of Faith.
At the risk of God striking me dead I'm going to say I find most religious people to be full of shit hypocrites.
Moving on.......
Worthless prediction/s time!
Lions +3 at Bears
Football Team at Falcons +1.5
Texans +17.5 at Bills
Panthers +4 at Cowboys
Colts at Dolphins -2.5
Browns -1 at Vikings
Giants at Saints -7
Titans at Jets +6
Chiefs -6.5 at Eagles
Cardinals at Rams -3
Seahawks at 49ers -2.5
Ravens -1 at Broncos
Steelers at Packers -6
Buccaneers at Patriots +7
Raiders +3 at Chargers
I have ZERO confidence in ALL these games but if I was forced to bet a 3 team parlay I would go with the Dolphins -2.5, Browns -1, and Packers -6.

And I find many of them use their faith as a way to mentally absolve themselves of their many sins.
Lots of good match ups and stories out there. I hope it translates into good games. Hopefully the Chiefs can get right. Just read that the Eagles starting RT is now out as well. Their OL just keeps getting thinner and thinner. Maybe the Chiefs can actually get a sack today.

For the Chiefs, Clark is an expensive hamstring injury. I think the length of his deal was the worst part, but probably the only thing the Chiefs could get signed. Clark represents probably four other serviceable guys at his cost. And to not play is just a gut-punch. At least the Raiders are starting play division games. Denver home game in their first test of the year. The altitude alone should get them a W.

So far.....
The Lions have had 3 possessions inside the Bears 10 and came away with ZERO points.

I can't believe I picked the Lions to win. That's never a winning play.

Based on last weeks games, you made a wise pick. Based on today, maybe not but as I said, the Lions may have blown anywhere between 9 and 24 points. The game is far from over.
On another note, Talib was just hyping his KU ties. Thankfully he didn't say how God awful the program is today.

Big Ben is a shell of his former self.
At this point in his career, I doubt he could even hold a woman down against her will.

Bills at Chiefs for Sunday Night Football next week?
Yowza. That won't be rowdy at all.

Four out of five likely play-off teams in the first five weeks. The schedule is brutal.

The random 17th game, v the Pack, didn't do us any favors.

It's an overall brutal schedule. Here is schedule for next 2 months.
Bills
@ WFT
@ Titans
G-Men
Pack
@ Raidas
Cowboys
BYE
They could go 7-0 in that stretch or 3-4. It's just a tough schedule.
After the bye is probably their best chance at making noise
Donkeys
Raidas
@ Chargers
Steelers
@ Bengals
@ Broncos

The Eagles, Giants and Steelers are the only teams on KC's entire schedule that currently have a record below .500. Ouch.

It's designed to be brutal. If your schedule is brutal, it's mostly from being good the year prior.

Yeah. I would rather see a round robin conference schedule that is balanced. But brutal is TV friendly

Kyler Murray in unreal. So fun to watch.
He's also very easy to like. He's good enough that he might win MVP some day. Russell was close, and I thin Kyler is ahead of Russell at the same point. Accurate passer and his ability to extend plays is Mahomes-esque.
Win the MVP "some day" may have been much too conservative.
