Mitchell gets it, and as a gentile, I need to hear "it".
(If you follow someone and watch their videos nearly daily for a couple of years, is it OK to use that connection, should you need to pull the,
"But I have Jewish friends" card, in the event you're accused of antisemitism?)
Josh Shapiro made the shortlist but was not chosen for VP. Republicans will use this to accuse Kamala Harris of being antisemitic. That is absurd.

She's mixing her pitches well. Never know how a one-inning reliever will adjust to being moved right to the top of the rotation.

Best thing to happen to the Dems in 2024 has been Joey old balls going brain dead on national TV.

Bet Trump wishes he'd have waited a few months to do that debate.

I'm exhausted in advance by the inevitable lawsuits where Democrats (sure, Jan) claim to have been disenfranchised by their primary vote for Biden not being honored.
And I'm sad in advance that we all KNOW that at LEAST two members of the Court - and in all likelihood more - are just itching to find a reason.

Which brings us to people needing to wake the fuck up and realize the importance of having (and/or not having) a Democratic majority in congress and how it could have a major impact/bearing on the outcome of the Presidential election?

This is interesting, because I
wanted to respond that the die is somewhat cast.
But then I remembered that the Constitution provides that new
legislative terms begin before new Presidential terms. Specifically, noon on January 3.
And so you are right: we could very well be heading for a situation where the downballot November election results determine the composition of the legislatures that are responsible for ratifying the top line of the November election results.
Which of course has the potential to get weird. Among other things, most of the sorts of challenges you could expect to see are challenges that, necessarily, implicate a whole ballot. The analysis gets circular in a hurry.
All the more reason that Harris/Walz need to win the election going away. The narrower the result, the greater the likelihood of successful fuckery.

Even taking that as far as it’ll go, I suggest you turn your attention to her opponent for an example of someone who cannot even manage that.

I'm confident he's following his own script - and right now I figure it's causing his head to spin.

Read that he lied about his helicopter brush with death the first time in 1989--he was never intending to go on the ill-fated mission that killed some of his execs, but then pretended he was. And, as lies are wont to do, forgot that it was a lie and even stated he was on it. Next he'll be with Neil Armstrong.
