I would prefer Yahoo or CBS, just because I'm already in leagues in both, and would like to not have to check a third...

I'm good with doing whatever. I think for a first year, might be cool to just do it for KCrim "status", but then could go more than that in the following years.

Let's do a Yahoo league.

PWhitt, want to pin to the top and we can get everyone involved that wants to be in it and I can send out information through DMs.

Roster cuts happen Saturday. Draft would likely be early next week. Maybe Monday evening-ish.

My draft is Tuesday night and I pick 10th in a 10 team league, which I love. Now it's just a matter of how many dumb decisions the nine ahead of me make.

Some years i like going late....this year might not be 1 of those years....although i would rather go 10th than say 6th. But i would always rather have the #1 pick...especially with McCaffrey being the clear #1 player.

In the league I am in it works out great. Only a couple of guys in this league pay much attention or have any sort of plan when they draft. Two guys in particular fancy themselves as out of the box thinkers, which really means they just like to get the #1 rated guy at a position even if they have to reach to get them. I am talking up Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce over beers before we start to try to bait people into taking them in the first round. That way I come out of my first 2 rounds with 2 of the top 8 players.

Ya...i don't hate taking a QB early, but only if it is Mahomes or Jackson...other than that there just isnt a big gap between 3rd best QB and 10th best QB. Running backs are so hard to come by, especially the last handful of years where RB by committee has become a real problem when drafting....usually i skimp on WRs unless i can get a high end one....otherwise i just get them late and hope for the best.

Take Mahomes and Jackson out of that equation ( assumed 1st and 2nd best QB ) and next best QB of 2019 was Dak Preskott ( from last season ) and the 10th was Tom Brady.

That was a difference of 75 points in my league - which is not insignificant.

In ours last night, I knew I wasn't going to get Mahomes or Jackson, but I reeeeaaaaallllllyyyyy wanted Kyler Murray. So I waited as long as I could before I felt like I could pick him. Feel like him in the 6th round is really good value.

Murray is an awesome pick for a 12 team league.
An 8 team league isn't as impressive as you'll probably want a top 4 QB.
Maybe he ends up there though.

I personally think he'll be the 3rd QB in fantasy value. With his legs and improvement he took last year. Plus, add Nuk to his arsenal, he'll take even more steps.

As we all know too well, they key is to having your players stay healthy.
Now add Covid to the mix. A LOT of unknowns about this season. What happens if a team or two or three have an "outbreak"? Then what happens?
In most of my leagues I don't think I have the best starters but I do feel like my "bench" is better than most other team's bench/s.

As commish, I added one IR spot that is only allowed for players you have had who go on the COVID exempt list ( i.e. you can't pick up a player put on the list and then put him on your IR, you have already have had to own that player ).

If it's really bad ( and I think if it was, NFL might be cancelled ), i'll add another spot.

I have a dipshit in my league who used his keeper on Lamar Jackson. Gave up the #1 overall pick to do so. Also had a guy use his 2nd keeper on Zack Ertz

If the season oges exactly as it did last, then using a no. 1 pick for Lamar is not a bad move.
He destroyed everyone in points.
But him repeating that season isn't a guarantee.

What was the difference between 3rd RB and 10th RB?

I love Murray this year, but I also have Drake on both my teams so far (final draft tonight).

Doesn't make sense to have Drake and Murray.

Also 75 points.
( non PPR )
If you take Barkley ( since he's expected to be picked in the top 2 RBs ) out of the equation ( like I took out Mahomes ) it's 83 points.

Have my work league draft tonight.
Work league has always been so goddamn sketchy.

One year a couple minutes before the draft, I went from 3rd pick to 4th pick b/c one of our higher ups wanted 1st pick.
Another year one of the higher ups made a mistake in the draft and they went back 2 rounds and re-did it. That same year the draft time was changed mid draft from 1 minute to 1 minute thirty b/c people couldn't make decisions fast enough.

This year we were supposed to have a random draft order set yesterday. A few days before that I checked my order and I was 8th. The commish was 2nd. Sure enough, draft order randomized, he's 2nd, I'm 8th, his boss is 1st. I mean...the odds...

Anyways, I may go Helaire ( b/c i'm the only Chiefs fan up here ) and Hill at the turn.
