It’s not his fault, no.
But nevertheless he has been largely a bust.

I haven’t watched Racheed White enough but he has the numbers.

I’d be tempted to see Bijan even at that price ( 5.4 avg ) wreak havoc in our offense too.

Others too expensive and or old.
I feel like Etienne is getting by on name.
He was excellent this year despite the Jags offense sputtering at times. He had nearly 1,500 total yards. I would LOVE to see what he would do in KC's offense.

Yeah, he'd be fine if he was drafted in the 5th round. Especially when you see that the next RBs off the board after CEH were D'Andre Swift, Jonathan Taylor, Cam Akers, JK Dobbins, AJ Dillon and Antonio Gibson, all of whom I think are better than CEH.

Electric.
He is electric, and yes I've watched him, but the stats tell the story pretty well - get him the ball in space and he's a terror (8.2 yards/catch)...but he's not a very good running back (3.8 yards/carry).

He'd be an AWESOME add to the Chiefs.

But if forced to choose one guy of the two for the 2024 Chiefs roster, I would choose Pacheco (and his 2022 draft, 7th round contract) over Etienne (and his 2021 draft, 1st round contract).

Yeah, to get what we're getting out of a 7th rounder is incredible.

https://overthecap.com/position/running-back/2024

Isiah Pacheco has just the 62nd highest 2024 cap hit of NFL RBs. That's a value of production that is helping the Chiefs big time. Look at some of the chump names listed above him.

Etienne average value over Pacheco is just over 2 mill a season ( which in this hypothetical, we could fit within our cap ).
I'd be willing to take that gamble for that - just my opinion here.
Etienne in our offense would both have a higher YPC as a RB ( our offensive line I think is a top 5 run blocking unit with Thuney, Humphrey and Trey Smith - Jawaan Taylor just generally sucks ) and as a receiver.

I think he's somewhat what the Chiefs were thinking when nabbing CEH.

That Jawaan Taylor contract. Jesus.

It's going to be a fascinating offseason in KC for sure. But I hope it doesn't start for another 3+ weeks. Man, I really hope we break Buffalo's heart again.

I would be curious to see an actual statistical analysis on Allen's variance, in terms of whether other QBs of his level are as prone to occasional whole-game meltdowns.

He's a damn shishito pepper.

I’d love a full meltdown Sunday.
Like one of those 2 INTs, 1 fumble masterpieces.

Bills will be down in the secondary and Gabe 200 yards and 4 tds Davis is out too.

We need their starting LB to not recover in time.

Buffalo LB Terrel Bernard didn't practice all week and is listed as Questionable. It's extremely rare that someone misses the full week of practice and still plays. Even if he does play, it feels like he is extremely compromised.

Their punter and a CB have also been limited in practice and are listed as Questionable but I'd bet they both play since they practiced in some capacity.

FWIW ($20 for shoveling some snow and Bills L?) Bernard was WALKING around just fine yesterday.

The biggest reason for optimism: in a close game, the Chiefs special teams has a clear advantage--the thing that separated KU from KSU the past season.

The more points scored, the likelier it is as well that Allen will press into mistakes.

I see this as a KC 27-24 win.

Probably fool's gold. That injury is one that takes time for full mobility. I am sure they will wrap it and give him a shot. But long term, not a good idea to play through that.

We shall see. Frankly, I really don't care who does or doesn't play for the Bills as long as they lose.
If they win (God forbid ;) ), I will root for them to beat the Ravens - if the Ravens beat the Texans.
