as soon as they scored i said to my wife that they left too much time for allen

bills D did relatively well against the run, at least in the first half, but i’m not at all worried about being able to move the ball and put up points

Well as twocoach mentioned, Houston’s rush is more dangerous than Buffalos.

I worry about any pass rush as it's more the KC offensive line I worry about than the quality of the opposing defense. If Mahomes can't get enough time, it's going to be rough sledding.

Andy I am sure is expecting a ton of blitzes. So should Buffalo.

Teams that played on the Saturday of the NFL divisional round have gone 20-10 in the conference title round over the past 15 years. At least one team that played on Saturday in the divisional round has advanced to the Super Bowl in 17 of the past 19 years. We'll see if the extra day of rest for Kansas City and Washington keeps this stat rolling or not. But I am glad KC was the first game Saturday to maximize their rest. Any advantage can be the one that makes the difference, I suppose.

I don't like comparing single elimination things with 7 games series but I get their point. James went 5-3 in Game 1 of those series which doesn't make any difference since they would have been played differently had they been single elimination.

The logical comparison would have been vs. the 8 straight conference championships game appearances for Brady and New England from 2011-2018 (weird that it's the identical timeframe as James) but Stephen A. and Sharpe had to unnecessarily add LeBron into the conversation.

Span:
Mahomes: 2018-24
Brady: 2011-18

Conf. Champ. W-L
Mahomes: 4-2 and counting
Brady: 5-3

Titles:
Mahomes: 3 Super Bowl wins and counting
Brady: 3 Super Bowl wins

Super Bowl MVPs:
Mahomes: 3 and counting
Brady: 2

I think they've done the Brady/Mahomes thing so many times they were just trying to come up with something different.

ESPN has been making a noticeable push to try to make NBA more popular. I think this is more of that with their daily jibber jabber shows.

This is a legacy game for Allen. He knows it. His team knows it. Our team knows it.

The game itself may not be as epic as the crazy comeback drive game a few years ago, but this is a huge spot historically.

We also went in on the three peat instead of looking to the future ( not super heavy but enough to see they were willing to take some hits later if we could better compete now ) so this is fairly huge for us historically.

A three peat moving Mahomes total titles to 4?
Well that might have Brady looking over his shoulder for real.
