are you saying you want this 1 kid to play sports by themself?

Which 1 "kid" are you talking about?

I don't know anything about the specifics of that situation, so I don't have an opinion. Although I do NOT think "laws" need to be created for any of it. There is no "law" that says my 8yr old can't play in the 5yr old soccer league. It's just not allowed by the league.

My comment about creating leagues for all types of humans was more in the general sense. I want opportunities for everyone.

I also think, to me at least, there is a difference between "kids" and other age groups.

For instance, college athletes. If you were born with male parts you should (generally) compete against others born with male parts. The most notable recent situation is the trans swimmer breaking female records. That doesn't seem right to me.

I think there should be avenues for ALL types of humans to play sports. I want inclusion for everyone. Boy, girl, trans (ftm and mtf). For instance, I do not think it's fair (generally) for girl athletes to have to compete against trans athletes who are ftm (female to male).

Like with most things, every situation is different. And i feel differently about a situation involving say a 10yr old, than i do/would about a 20yr old.

But I don't think politicians need to be involved in any of it (like with many other things).

Agree with Illy, it's a local issue for the individual leagues. The big government party is trying to butt into way too many things.

No problem.

Very sensitive and complex subject. And even more complex if it involves kids.

You should open your eyes and look at the recent legislative track record of the GOP.

I am going to say this as nicely as possible.
You are either a troll, senile old man, or an ignorant hypocrite. Which is it? Maybe all 3?

Exactly, when I referred to "party of big government", I was referring to pubs. Or maybe that's Dems... And pubs are the party of huge government.

This period of intentional ignorance in our nation is one of the weirdest times of my life. Watching people rail against things despite the obvious evidence that they are completely wrong is so bizarre to me.

I can at least admit when I am ill informed, assume something that turns out to not be accurate or state something that turns out not to be true.
