If he's demonstrated anything it.s that he can spend hundreds of millions of dollars to get votes.
Or...well...you're right: lulz

Just wondering this morning how many, apart from our resident call women names individual, wouldn't rather have Hillary Clinton dealing with a possible pandemic than the "fucking moron?"
Would she really have sent a Sec. Carson out front as yesterday's lead person on coronavirus?
I forget, what is the technical term for "We're totally fucked"?

Personally, I think that American Samoa thing has gone to his head.

Bloomberg is not a dumb man. He knew he was long shot to get the nomination.
Sure he spent hundreds of millions of dollars but he's not going to miss a penny of it.
I like to believe those hundreds of millions of dollars were less about him getting votes than they were about him calling out Trump.
I say he didn't spend enough.

i, for one, have a bit more respect for him pledging his financial support even though he has dropped out
he coulda taken his ball and gone home
instead, he at least appears to really care about the future of the country and not just himself or his money

I agree he appears to care about the future of the country but I'm a cynical person so I believe what he cares about most is Donald Trump. They both should just whip out their dicks and tax returns, compare them, and call it a day.

Bingo. What he cares about most is feeling like he bested DJT.

Powerful men get to a point where they want to leave a legacy. Bloomberg has really funded a lot of charitable stuff, but what kind of legacy is it to be the guy who bankrolled dumping Trump? Whoa doggies.

And of those four items you mention, the only that anyone might perceive as
big would be Bloomberg’s return...

As long as those are the rules. We don’t like the rules but we’re not stupid enough to unilaterally disarm (although in the past they have). If that’s what it takes......

taking the “high road” while others play dirty only has the effect warm fuzzies
hence, trump, mcconnell, SCOTUS...

Yesterday an estimated 15,000 showed up in Grant Park (Chicago) to feel the Bern. FWTW. LOL?
Today Jesse (Jackson - not Smollett or White) said he's endorsing Bernie. FWTW. LOL?
I will not vote for Bernie in the Illinois Primary. FWTW.
If Bernie gets the nomination I am fucked. I don't want him to be our President but I don't want Trump to be our President even more.
Going to be really difficult to vote for someone I don't want to be my President.
Not voting very well might be my weapon of choice.

Decent point and funny you should say that. I have a confession. As an Independent voter I chose to vote in the 2016 Illinois REPUBLICAN Primary. Why? To vote AGAINST Trump. I'm proud to say I was NOT one of the 562,464 who did vote for Trump. Fuck each and every one of them for doing as such.
Yes, I voted for Hillary in the Presidential Election. As painful as that was for me, it would be even more painful for me to vote for Bernie - but I need to realize it's less painful than voting for Donald.
