Other than another base running blunder (Pham It All!!!), not much to complain about here.

Yankees trotted out 97 on the black with seven different pitchers. 0-11 RISP. But not a Hell of a lot you can do.

They are good. I hate them. As always. Since 1977.

Inning ending DP if the Royals play at normal depth in the middle. Judge stealing had to be halted. But the new rules basically give the home team a win in extra innings with even marginal execution. Fermin was dog shit the whole series. Missed Melendez throw too. Because he was catcher, had to put him on second to start the 11th. Over at that point.

Melendez throw woulda been close even if he handles. Tough with runner sliding in.

Royals bats still not fully awake, but pitching has had an energy renaissance of late. May it continue to the finish.

He’ll stretch ends. On 9/11. The t3am, fittingly went 9-11.

Why McArthur is still on this team is beyond me. Needs work in the minors. Four run lead in danger now

Second and third nobody out for the Royals. 9th inning. Five run lead in play but winning 5-1. Pham 0-4 at the plate. Not asked to bunt. Strikes out. Because the Royals stole second base, Witt can now be put on first to put the double play in order. Salvy hits into a 6-4-3. Nobody scored. Did not matter. But could have. Need to tighten up strategy. But 82-wins!!

Do we need Royals to bridge to basketball season?

Can we catch O’s?

The Cleveland Baseball Team?

Tomorrow is, while I think obviously important to the chase for home games in the playoffs, pretty important if Singer is taking the mound. He hasn’t won in forever and we will need him to pitch at least to an above average level if we plan to compete in a post season series.

Get him a win.

Thinking the same. Need Singer to master the zone again. He has been victimized by command.

Brady was sailing along until he became timid. Lost his good pitch count in the 4th. Umpire screwed him in the 5th.
