That on the front. "Tails" on the back.

Not sure it matter. KC could have fielded and called a TO without wasting more than 1 sec.

Might be the best game I’ve seen.

Their defense is better than ours.
We have the best player in football.
Both defenses were less than stellar against good teams this season. This hitting the "over" was the easiest bet of the weekend if you were the betting type.

Their defense is still better than ours.
By a good amount.

Being a playoff game against the team that has built their roster to beat you and the QB everyone said was pushing Mahomes for "best" status, what an amazing game.

Just a reminder that Andy Reid and his staff perfectry managed their timeouts and end of game clock management and were prepared for every scenario they handled down the stretch of the game. Hats off to Coach Reid.

I was in a bar in Philly back in 2016 and the bartender asked us where we were from because our accents did not sound like we were from around there. I told him KC. He and the other bartenders started laughing. You got Andy Reid now! They said they loved the guy when he was in Philly, but he just couldn't manage a game and they were glad he was gone.

I thought of those guys last night after the game.

KC occasionally has to burn a TO because they get too creative with a play call and someone gets out of alignment and it takes too long to correct. Just add it to the list of things that went right for KC that they had enough timeouts left to do what they did with 13 seconds left. Two burned timeouts at various stages earlier in the game and Buffalo wins.

A smaller detail that strikes me any time I watch the Chiefs play: an added benefit of being a good AFC team right now is getting Tony Romo. He was right away the pro's pro of current football color commentating.

Can we talk about that play call where, was it Blake Bell?, lined up center, after Mahomes shifted left, on the 1 yard line and pitched to McKinnon?

That was very dumb.

I think it was Kelce?

We had a first down in the red zone that woulda put us up 2 scores in the 4th but Mahomes didn’t pass once

Terrible play call because it creates a 10 vs. 11 advantage for the defense. They don't have to cover Mahomes when he lines up as a WR. If you absolutely need to run that offensive set with Blake Bell taking the snap, just take Mahomes off the field and put an extra TE or OL on the field.

"If you absolutely need to run that offensive set with Blake Bell taking the snap"

In a playoff game, on 3rd down and goal, Mahomes is touching the ball - or at the very least, is lining up center with a direct snap to a FB or something.
Come on Andy.

Yeah, that was too cute for a tight playoff game. Have Mahomes receive that snap and take your chances with the bets player making a play.

It about cost us the season. After Hill's long punt return to like the 10 they went run, run, option from Bell to McKinnon. Gross.

Don't think Reid will do that again. I think the Belldozer thing is done.

Andy has proven he will never run another QB sneak with Mahomes again after the freak injury in Denver two years ago. The Belldozer package will stick around, just hopefully as long as it's a QB sneak and nothing else.
