Is the suggestion that he just forgot?

No. The suggestion is that he just didn't do it.

Why? Because being president is hard and there's a lot to do and no one micromanages this shit.

certainly it wasn't done maliciously.

Oh. OK. Good to know.

I just listened to a few songs from tedeschi trucks band. Pretty good stuff. Some John Prine covers in there.

I needed some happy time.

Blame it on Trump. It will make everything better.

If the mother fucker would take just a sliver of accountability for the things that he's truly fucked up it would make not everything but some things better. Would it not?

But that's what guys like Psych love about Trump. Accountability is for pussies.

If we, as a country, are to emerge from this strengthened and better prepared for the next one, we must embrace the power of "AND." It's not a question of whether Trump fucked up OR the permanent bureaucracy fucked up. It's that Trump AND the CDC fucked up. It's that Trump AND the FDA fucked up. It's that the federal government AND the state governments fucked up.

Is that what it is?

I thought it was his ability to antagonize libs.

Being that I live in one of the last eight dumb, GOP-led states that has not ordered stay-at-home yet, I headed out to Costco this morning in search of toilet paper. We arent out yet but will be in a few weeks. Our Governor and Mayor have asked Big box businesses to take measures to reduce crowds since everywhere you go, the parking lots have dozens of cars in them because no one is being forced to stay at home.

Costco's "measures"? They had everyone stand in a cramped line that wraps all the way down the side of the building and through the parking lot while they only let 25 people into the store every 10 minutes. I heard that, turned on my heel and moved my search to Walgreens and the grocery store. No luck.

This state is stupid.

Let's blame Obama, right DC
That's a powerful argument from a guy who wanted the CDC to spend its time and resources on guns.

It's as if appointing ass kissers, shitheels and incompetent sycophants at many important jobs through the federal government, including to a new task force led by a science denying vice president, dismantling teams built in an effort to learn from the H1N1 virus just because it was built by Obama, worrying more about the impact of this virus on his reelection campaign had negative consequences.

Who would have thunk it?

With the right amount of funding,I feel confident that the CDC could employ enough people to do those two things at the same time.

Good point.

Government has been starved these last few years.

You're an educator. I am shocked you don't comprehend that people can actually learn from their mistakes - if they are capable of admitting and acknowledging that they have made a mistake.
If he were capable of doing as such, it just might make him realize that his narcissism doesn't make him a better person, it makes him a dangerous ignorant fuck.
