6 home games left in the regular season, back to back series.
Come on KC, please get out for those games.

3 games v Detroit who are scratching for a wild card spot.

Ugh. Based loaded. 1 out. Bottom 5. Relief pitcher in. 1 pitch. Double play. Good job Massey

3rd base play has helped twice, with two different fielders

Q cannot scratch out runs and has the wrong starters. Fermin is a backup only right now along with Renfroe if offense valued. Calling those sliders too. Fermin cannot buy a hit.

Welp. I question Q again. Uses Erceg too early. Then again in the 10th. But no Melendez all night. Rightie vs. rightie. Q was bad.

Not so good.
I don't think we have a shot to catch up with the O's ( especially since they have the tiebreaker ) so now it's just trying to hold on to one of the last 2 spots.

A win today would pretty much seal things. But a loss today tightens the 'ol throat.

Marsh starting against Skubal was not inspired Leaving him in the 3rd after the first three hitters smoked him was madness. Losing Vinnie and replacing him with right handed aging bats not working real good.

The team was much better when Renfroe was injured. And Q letting him hit into another 6-4-3 was special. With lefties on the bench. Pham up in the 7th against a meh RHP. Playing Menendez's position. Much worse. Strikes out on three meh pitches. Isbel and Melendez may be the best fielders at their position in the league. Q is such a dumb ass he insists on platooning them for pretty awful right handed bats. Let Dejong strikeout against a rightie then replaced him defensively with Garcia. Oops. Didn't even do that. Pulled his athlete for a slow dude. Dejong still in. To make another key out.

An average manager wins the division for the Royals this year. But he will win manager of the year and we will be stuck with him. So frustrating. Brings in Melendez to in hit the 8th when Hinch can go to a lefty after a small rally. Then swapped Melendez with the coldest bat in the world in Fermin with a genius double pinch hit swap. 5-4-3. Rally over. Season probably.

Q is not getting this team anywhere. There are holes, and injuries, but there is no excuse having Renfroe, Phamm and Hampson as your starting outfield. The last four games have turned on Q's ability to create runs and put together a lineup card.

I’m nervous but still expect to finish 5 in AL. Of course, Detroit finishing with White Sox isn’t great.

It’s really too bad the Royals keep having to face Cy Young every night!

Black is a scrub pitcher with renewed confidence facing the Royals. As per usual. The Royals are over-swinging. It is so clear from home and such a mystery to the coaches.
