RFK or Vivek are the only decent options this time.

i know two things about rfk:

1. he ain't dt
2. he ain't uncle

that's all i need to know.

i lay the blame squarely with the uncle voters. we wouldn't be in this mess if dt was in the homestretch of his second term. he would be term limited out. uncle would be in an oldfolks home instead of the WH.

instead of 12 years of madness. we would have been limited to 8.

I understand Brother Clyburn’s concerns regarding
@POTUS standing with Black folk. The Democrats would not have these issues if they treated Black voters with the dignity we deserve and address the interests of poor and working class Black folk as opposed to their corporate masters. The Democrats have failed to demonstrate that our lives are as important to them as our votes, and nothing proves this more than the New Jim and Jane Crow of #MassIncarceration, the fact that Black folk make up 13% of the total US population but 37% of the unhoused, and the unacceptable situation with Black maternity and infant mortality rates due to #MedicalApartheid. Our campaign offers a new choice for people on the chocolate side of town as much as for folk on the vanilla side of town and all in between. My Policy Pillars will institute real and lasting #RacialJustice and together we will break the derelict #duopoly that takes Black and all poor and working class folk for granted. #TruthJusticeLove #CornelWest2024

I am blessed to be with my dear brother the legendary Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr to focus on our precious Palestinian brothers and sisters confronting Israeli genocidal attack in Gaza!
#EndTheGenocide

In our quest for racial justice, this campaign commits to bold, transformative policies. We advocate for reparations, acknowledging the historic debt to Black Americans, with a directive to complete this process in two years. We'll push for filibuster-proof budget reconciliation for reparations and Land Back, mirroring the Civil Liberties Act of 1988. Our plan includes ending mass incarceration, ensuring voting rights for all incarcerated and returning citizens, and addressing the alarming mortality rate in Black pregnancies. We call for public review commissions for police forces nationwide and the reinstatement of key sections of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Establishing a Land Back Commission is necessary to rectify injustices against Indigenous peoples, along with a dedicated federal response to the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. We also vow to implement the Justice for Black Farmers Act on Day One of my presidency. Our roots may be on the chocolate side of town, but our fight for truth, justice and love spans every community.

You knew it was coming.
Former President Trump promoted a false conspiracy theory questioning 2024 rival Nikki Haley’s eligibility to serve as president in a social media post as he escalates his attacks on his former United Nations ambassador.

Trump on Monday reposted a report from the right-wing website The Gateway Pundit that suggested Haley was not a U.S. citizen because her parents, who immigrated from India, were not citizens at the time of her birth.

But Haley was born in the U.S. in 1972, and as a result is a U.S. citizen who is eligible to run for president.

While Trump did not add any commentary to the post, it is not the first time he has tried to sow doubt about the legitimacy of a political opponent’s right to serve in the White House.

Trump himself is facing questions over whether he is eligible to be on primary ballots. Colorado and Maine have removed him from the ballot under a clause in the 14th Amendment that prohibits someone from holding “any office … under the United States” if they “engaged in insurrection” after taking an oath to support the Constitution.
Rubepublicans love them some disinformation.

"Nimrata is a muslim" is next.

The best part of this is The Defendant implicitly, out of motivations of varying degrees of ugliness, giving credence to the (factual) notion that Constitutional qualifications are self-executing.

I missed the first part of his announcement, but what I heard was particularly good, imo. I disagree with him about plenty, but as far as I can tell, he's not just another Christo-Fascist White superiority enabler, and believes in arcane concepts like the rule of law, and the constitution. And sadly, these days, that means something...

You haven't ingested enough ivermectin and colloidal silver yet. When your skin turns blue-gray, it will become self evident.

Well yeah, but how anyone can think Biden is better than RFK is beyond most people's comprehension. It's by design because they want a brain dead puppet in there to support their agendas.

Having said that, I don’t disagree with your premise.

Not at all surprised that you are pulling on the RFK teat.
I would put him 1 step above Trump in my design.

That is to say...fuck no

Of course I was thinking about that, when I was listening to him and writing that.

Maybe it came down to the thug you know, who doesn't also want to burn the place down?
