Younger brothers know how to play the victim card and mine could craft a convincing cry and a series of embellished truths out of nothing.

Sea Battle was peak intellivision gaming.
Along with B-17 Bomber.
And who could forget NASL Soccer?

We had Intellivision probably in 1986 -- I barely remember it.
Then Nintendo not soon after.
My mom sold the Nintendo at a garage sale within a year or two of owning it without any of us knowing because it was causing too much fighting between me and my brothers.
I wasn't allowed a gaming system until the summer before I moved out for college and immediately bought the N64.
It is just me and my younger sister who isn't a gamer at all so the only friction video games caused was when she tripped over the power cord to my Atari while I had an all-time great hi score on Asteroids in progress. It would have been a justifiable homicide in my opinion.

I had a friend with an Intellivision and a different friend with ColecoVision so I got go experience most of the early stuff. Gaming at home was pretty groundbreaking to 10 year old me.
Damn, now I want to drop this stupid work call and go play.

Lol.
I haven’t played it in weeks.
I love it but been too busy.
I hope you’re liking it a bit more.
Blizzard will change it over time hopefully for the better.

I have really enjoyed some of the environments in the later stages of the main story line and the ending cinematography was fantastic. I moved up to World Tier 3 and the overall game play has gotten much better. More variety of opponents, some nee play styles and dungeons and new gear levels. Makes a replay much more appealing.

Not saying that it isn't real game play but a number of smaller studios prerender scenes and post them as game footage.
It's getting very real however.
I'm still slowly beating the first play through of Diablo 4 and absolutely love it.
My next games will be Baldurs Gate 3 and Aliens : Dark Descent.

I remember the first time I played Resident Evil 2 at a friends.
Was up all night. He fell asleep. It was 3 AM and I was running around collecting plants.
Last of Us is one of my top 5 games all time.

I'm imagining you've already seen the series - which was great - but man, the video game, as an experience, is just waaaaay better.
First time you see a clicker?
Almost as scary as that MIZZOU video just posted.

There's so much of a requirement to "keep up" in leveling and gear that a lot of regular players get distracted and bothered when they aren't playing. Especially if you're playing in a competitive environment against people who don't have anything else to do with their time but play all day. I can see how it could be classified as an addiction.
