Man, Sublime wrote some underratedly good protest music, even though no one seems to think of them as that.
Way more social awareness than your average ska band.

Heather (his wife on violin), Clem on bass, and Grant on guitar, are people I consider to be friends and whose music I have been enjoying for 30+ years.

Been listening to a friend of mine's band, Names Without Numbers, lately. It's enjoyable to see and hear a friend do something they are passionate about. And their music is really good, too.

Say what you will about him (Mayer) but I say he is so freaking good.
5:30 mark and beyond is freaking special...... Jeff (keyboard/s) is pretty darn good too. Happy to say I was there in person.
