I finally had Popeyes sammich!
The spicy was legit spicy, and better than the regular. Both really good. Red beans and rice among the best fast food side options around

Post Brewing fried chicken. They started out in Lafayette, CO and are now renting out kitchen space at Jax Fish House off the Plaza. Had carry out last weekend and you might be able to order if you sit down. Delicious. Get the hot (it’s not that spicy) , grits and collard greens. Also spring for the biscuits. You won’t regret.

What sort of hot is it? Like a dry rub hot, or a Nashville (sauce) hot?

Should have clarified, fish. It is Nashville hot and at least to me it wasn't that hot. Still delicious though.

I like spicy. I tend to not like it to be delivered by sauce. That's why I'm team Chick-fil-A (or Wendy's) on spicy chicken sandwiches (and not team Popeyes).

You don't like Popeye's sammiches? I think they're pretty good. Wendy's is pretty good as well but I think I like Popeye's better. I steer clear of Chick-fil-A.

But the spicy iteration of Popeye's sammich is saucy. I love Popeye's generally.
