“ Police previously confirmed they were investigating a Feb. 25 incident involving Mahomes at an Overland Park restaurant near West 151st Street and Metcalf Avenue where Mahomes was accused of assaulting a waiter and the owner of the business.

In separate incidents, Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, allegedly shoved a 19-year-old male waiter more than once and then forcibly kissed the 40-year-old female owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, 6995 W. 151st St.”

The silver lining to this is that now the Chiefs have good reason to press Pat to distance himself from his younger brother when they didn't before.

Yes. But it’s ultimately on Patrick. At the end of the day he has the leverage.

I trust him to do the thing that best continues winning culture.

If he was different, I think he’d be more vocal about not having WRs and not being paid like Hurts, Aaron Rodgers etc.

Check out the comments. From both the day (and day after) he tweeted this and today.

Mahomie shoulda nipped his shit in the bud long ago, imo

the antics are image-tarnishing

but, as has been noted, that just may not be who he is…and most of us generally love who he is

Pat is a great guy. His sibling seems to have some learning disabilities. Billy Carter syndrome. We have all been there with friends or relatives. Keep them out of the workplace if you possibly can.

The not funny thing is most of you clowns don't realize Jack and Pat aren't all that different. The difference is Pat can play football.

Sorry but this is just dumb. A complete assumption based on nothing at all.

You are making a complete assumption based on what I posted ;)
Tried to imply I was fucking around with the meter level at 10. I failed. Sorry!
Yes, there are many differences between Patrick and Jackson.

Gutter guttered us! I do wonder about Jackson. Could use some help. Meanwhile, Pat's sister is just as competitive and no-nonense as #15

Yeah, but now let's talk about Pat's wife.
Besides her being a jock sniffer and MTG and Bobo being politicians, there really is no difference between the 3 of them.

;)

The Real question is, who is/was the better WAG….Brittany or Cavallari?

On the surface, the Mahomes’ relation sure seems more genuine and of good intent.

this is the kind of stuff that makes me disagree when people say we’d hate Mahomie if he played elsewhere

https://amp.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/p ... ggest-edge

… “I worry about legacy and winning rings more than making money at this moment," Mahomes told reporters. "We see what's going on around the league. But at the same time, I will never do anything that's going to hurt us from keeping the great players around me."

Corporate speak? Saying the right thing for purpose of popularity or morale? Not so much. Mahomes, who has very quickly gone from being a record-setter in terms of contractual worth to little more than a standard earner per annual salary, basically just said that while he's not blind to the reality of soaring QB remuneration, he's not looking to squeeze every single dollar out of the Chiefs.

And that — in these days when salary-cap management is the trickiest and most mathematically nerve-jangling facilitator of (or impediment to) success — could turn into the biggest advantage in the sport.

Given that Mahomes is still just 27, that the Chiefs have already won a pair of Super Bowls, and that their most abject "failures" have been two defeats in the AFC Championship game? Yeah, that's scary...
