They have to have this mentality with essentially no bench.

Kevin's aggression in attacking the rim was so key. Drew fouls, changed the attitude. Glad he returned. Game changer.

he played a bunch against UK too
Crazy how he's the guy self goes with down the stretch of these tough games, but in easier games hes also the guy that's kind of on the outside of the rotation looking in

needed somebody, anybody, with energy. He is unafraid. I'd rather have him playing than Nick at this point.

Bill said he's getting more and more trust in Jamari during the post game interview.

Since cable is still out, just watched a replay on my phone.

Harris hitting floaters down the stretch is awesome. We need that out of him. Only his second game with double digit scoring this season, but I’ll take it.

KU is still undefeated in games where Harris scored double digits and Bill Self was coaching, their only loss in a game Harris scored 10+ being the Arkansas game in the tourney with Norm Roberts filling in for Self.

Dajuan is 93W-24L for his college career thus far. Not too shabby.

Timberlake has been a big old bust.

We sure could have used MJ Rice for some bench depth.

Timberlake been an awful disappointment. Just hasn't found confidence in carving out a role here. Not an ideal fit. It's like yesefu again but slightly different

Timberlake does have skills that can help us though. The shooting is there, he just need to hit some shots in games

if a tree falls yadda yadda

Timberlake's shooting, at high level D1, is theoretical only thus far.

I hope it clicks for him, we could certainly use it.

He is an ideal fit.... if he figures out how to start doing what it was he was brought here to do. You don't hit that many threes prior and then suddenly not be a good shooter. It's 100% mental for him. He is rushing shots, pushing shots, steering shots, everything they tell you not to do as a shooter. If he gets his between-the-ears skills figured out then he'll be exactly what this roster needs him to be.

an ideal fit? Ideal? so if you could pick any singular bench player to put on this team, you'd pick Timberlake? Sheesh, we must be watching different games.

There's nothing theoretical about timberlakes shooting. He's a high level shooter. We've seen it already, the mechanics and everything

It's just hard to get in a rhythm when you are playing spot minutes. He knows he's one defensive lapse from getting yanked and is stressing

I haven't watched a ton but Furphy at the moment seems like a better version of Timberlake.
More active, not afraid to shoot the 3 and is making them at a better rate.

LOL.

He's an ideal fit for Towson.

He's Jeremy Case at Kansas, and that is probably a diss to Case.

He's a bad fit at Kansas this year. He is not good at defense. He is shooting 27% from 3pt. He doesn't do enough things at a high level to contribute at Kansas. Even on one of our thinnest rosters in decades. There will be plenty of misses in the transfer portal. That's okay. We needed to take a chance on him. If he gives us 5min of mistake free basketball occasionally then he's served his purpose for this year.

I'd like him to start doing what he came here to do because that would help us but i'd rather Furphy and Jamari do what he came here to do because they provide his skillset and then some.
