Not since it was in air whole time.

Well. Pham was an interesting reach. Needs to go. Gurriel I keep for PH. Renfroe needs to go. Not sure if they can call up guys, but I would get some faster LH batters. Grossman gone. McArthur gone. Q gone.

Through 5, 5 innings with RISP. Zero runs. Amazing.

Having watched this team all season, I’d resist ever say these guys lack heart…
…as a casual just watching the last few weeks, I’d definitely come to that conclusion.
Vinnie held up the house of cards lineup.

So much fail. The team looks like they wanted to be invited to prom, then got nervous and left before the first dance.

Renfroe, a slow RH batter up as the tying run in the 9th. Nobody out. Against a RH pitcher with a 1.99 ERA. Renfroe was 0-3 with three Ks. Struck out a 4th time. Then came Gurriel the slowest Royal. After a near 5-4-3, Massey pops out harmlessly and weakly to 3B. 27 innings. One run. Quartraro is an awful manager. Has no answers. Never bunted. Left gimpy Gurriel on 1B without a pinch runner so even if Massey hit a gapper, he was barely geeting to third. Lose this guy.
I read, somewhere, an analysis that the Royals missing the playoffs (with reference to their peak make-the-playoffs probability) would be the equivalent of being up 3-0 in a best-of-seven series, with a one-run lead after four innings in Game 4, and blowing the series.

The Tigers have already won today, so the limp dick Royals need to win to keep the fifth position for sure
