I'm already starting to be over it with CnB and Fish starting to try and figure out player unions and ad distribution dollars.
Either this place will be coated in ads bc if you cant beat em, join em, or will be kusportsd.

Why boo ads?
If you're pro people being compensated for their work and cant fathom why someone might do something more out of love than financial gain, why can't pdub trash up, I mean make things fair?

It's crazy how little you pay attention to what people actually say, because that gets in the way of having a straw man to wave talking points at. The whole
point is that we're not trying to figure anything out. The whole
point is that there doesn't need to be a system to do that, besides a free market (to take the place of the very-much-existing black market).

that free market only exists in Jfish and CnB's head.

And I'm saying a complete free market will ruin college athletics. I've been pretty clear on that.

You've been clear on it, sure, but being consistently silly doesn't make you
less silly.
The changes will only ruin college sports for those who
let them ruin college sports.
And I can't think of why someone would do that, unless they're (1) pouting for the sake of attention, or (2) truly
in favor of a system that is obviously and undeniably exploitative, and disproportionately so.

big time collegiate athletics has been steadily sliding down the crapper for some time now.

You might not be arguing what you think you are.
There are quotes out there now even from college administrators in addition to those in athletic departments that have said college sports can't keep the status quo.

For someone who was originally a more conservative person and then realized that his perspective can change over time, thus valuing other opinions on controversial subjects, its sad?* that you still stoop to smug insults to validate your own.
* not sad as much anymore, bc I used to like you, but more so just annoying

"Also note, I'm not arguing against how you think college athletics should be.
I get the side of the argument where players should be paid.
I just completely disagree with it and won't have anything to do with it if it continues this course."

Point me to the insult. If you feel insulted by this...
The changes will only ruin college sports for those who let them ruin college sports.
And I can't think of why someone would do that, unless they're (1) pouting for the sake of attention, or (2) truly in favor of a system that is obviously and undeniably exploitative, and disproportionately so.
...then I think that says you
know the problems with your position.

"Silly"
And then breaking down an opinion to only two operations of thought when its clearly not either of them.
