While I don’t support physical altercation of any kind Rudy deserves to be ridiculed and shamed at every opportunity. He’s the epitome of everything that is wrong with the Republican Party and why they are bad for the future of our country

As horrific as it was, convince me that 9/11 was NOT the BEST thing to happen to/for Rudy in his adult life.

color me a cynic, but none of this is going to matter. not these revelations, not the SCOTUS rulings, not the continued gun violence and environmental issues that are failing to be addressed…dems are likely to still take a beating at the ballot box and cede control of congress

I don’t think it’s a matter of the left not getting their act together to capitalize on the failures of the right. It’s a commentary on how the right has been successful in rigging the system that no how horrible they are they can’t be removed from power. It’s a commentary on the failure of the framers of the Constitution that they didn’t foresee that one side would manipulate every loophole to their advantage.

Perhaps the lessons for someone drafting the next Constitution for a hypothetical democracy would be to include a trigger that the whole thing would self-destruct unless redrafted/reratified every 75 years or so. We’re at a point now where the interpretation of the current incarnation of the SC has rendered the document utterly useless anyway.
