I loved the shot of Taylor Swift up there in the box with a shirtless Jason Kelce in the background drinking beer.

Every time I saw Travis Kelce, I could see his wife with that "this is going to be a long, embarrassing night" look on her face.

Now look closely and tell me what Pat Sr. is/was thinking with his reaction to Britt and Tay Tay. ;)

Or is that Aric Jones?

that's never happened before.
First time for everything!
Thanks for the shoutout.
My full post was
Chiefs vs Buffalo was a close game last time. Mahomes is pissed at the world about the last game.
Pacheco is back, and Buffalo is dinged up even more than before.
In a game expected to be decided by < 1 a field goal, the Bill's placekicker has lost his mojo.

I know what my heart wants. My money is going to stay in my pocket.
As I predicted, Mahomes played well (easy prediction), Pacheco made a huge impact, Buffalo's dinged-up defense had unfillable holes, and the Bill's placekicker dinged a chip shot off the upright and missed a makeable field goal that would have tied the game.

The Bills linebacker situation was devastating. As a good example, I don't know that Matt Milano was even mentioned in the primary broadcast as he went down (broke a leg) way back in October. He was a pro bowler last year... so not just some minor piece.

A very enjoyable game to look forward to and to watch until the last two minutes.

Of note, we were down three defensive starters in Nnadi, Gay and Edwards for most of the game.
Thuney was out for most of the second half.
McKinnon, Skyy Moore ( no big loss ) and Toney ( actually maybe helpful ) were out for this game as well.
Other depth out included Wayna Morris and 1st round pick FAU.

Need Gay and Edwards back for this next one. Badly.

I'd put the order of preference as:

Gay
Thuney
Edwards

Chamarri Conner had 10 tackles last night filling in for Edwards. I might have been wrong on him at the draft.

I'm assuming Thuney is done. Hope I'm wrong.

Totally forgot about Bryan Cook.
Yes - duh - that's why Edwards was starting.

Does he have a shot to come back this season?
Guessing no.

Chiefs-Bills averaged a whopping 50.39 MILLION viewers on CBS — the most-watched divisional game in NFL history.

Yeah, the whole Peacock thing was definitely a mistake.

Well, in their defense, they probably thought the peacock game would be a Houston/Cleveland type thing and not a KC/Miami game. Oops.

The Chiefs put eyeballs on TVs so they chose them trying to force people to sign up for their app. I am sure some did but they definitely lost millions of viewers overall, perhaps tens of millions.

Fuck them.

I thought that Wildcard game was always slated to be on Peacock?

They didn't choose for the Chiefs not to be #2 seed or #1 and get a first Rd bye.

If anything, I'm afraid that that 50.39 million figure makes it clear that nothing was actually "lost" by doing the Peacock game.

It was always slated to have A wild card playoff game on Peacock and it looks like it was always slated to be the prime time Saturday night slot. What I do not know is if the 3 vs. the 6 AFC matchup was always going to be in that Saturday prime time slot no matter who was going to be in it or if they put the Chiefs game in that slot specifically because they wanted to drive as many eyes to the Peacock app as possible. My guess is it's the latter.

Gutter brain at work.....

Kansas City and Buffalo have less residents than 20+ other NFL teams.
Green Bay has the least amount.
I would venture to guess they are in the top 10 of most popular NFL teams today. Heck, two of them may be top 5.
