Just contorted and silly arguments.
The Russians are invading us? Really? We must be using different Internets.
First, b.s.
Second, what does that have to do with flushing billions down the toilet in Ukraine?

Russia meddled in our presidential election(s). Can’t imagine a more plausible way they could invade us.

They did no such thing. But, hey, I’d it makes you all feel better, whatever. Still has nada to do with Ukraine.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Your dogmatic adherence to things that are obviously, provably false (which have in fact been proven to be false) takes away from the many sensible and reasonable things you have to say.

I disagree.

Not seeing eye to eye with the libs (which I’m not, but fine to lump me in for this purpose) isn’t a crime. It’s needed. But it needs to be reality-based. In some cases, like this one, it’s not.

Isn't "reality based" a rather high bar to hold our "conservative" republican friends to?

They put their thumb on the scale of our federal (at least) elections. Does that constitute an act of war? Clearly that isn't a pragmatic conclusion. But it's not not an act of aggression.

Higher for some than others. But it's a bar that should be, and remain, held out for the grabbing.

They 100% did and it has been proven out multiple times by legitimate US intelligence agencies and has been reported out to legitimate sources repeatedly.

Proven out with a great deal of restraint, I think it's really important to note. Mueller's "exoneration" of Trump was, of course, anything but exonerating.

meh

he may have reasonable takes, but i’d argue those that he shares here don’t tend to fall into that category

If it were true, he’d be in prison. Considering the vigor with which you and yours have been pursuing such an outcome, it’s pretty obvious nothing happened.

I continue to believe that he didn’t collude with Russia. Because collusion requires more equal of a relationship than he has with Putin.

As for why he wasn’t charged…I don’t think it’s the case, based on evidence available then and now, that a failure to charge should be read as an exoneration of his conduct, or Putin’s.

He, meaning Trump? Don't make the same mistake that many have done which is to assume that Trump had to be involved for it to happen. The Russian meddling in the election didn't need Trump's cooperation, participation or even awareness for it to happen.

We influence Russia’s (among others) political goings-on, so it stands to reason that they(and other countries) do the same. Nothing new.

If you avoid doing lazy assumptions and look into what they did, I'd say it's not even remotely comparable.

Well, I’m pretty lazy, and I was happy with the outcome, so . . .
