pdub wrote: Sun Jan 30, 2022 5:41 pm You need to kick the FG to end the half.

The officials need to call either an interference with the kick returner, a late hit, or an obvious DPI grab on the back jersey.

The officials cant call an awful DPI when a WR has already fallen to the ground. That gave them a first on their game tying TD instead of 3rd and 10.

And Mahomes cant take those sacks at that point in the game.
Don’t blame any officiating.

This loss is on Patrick, Reid and Chris Jones and Frank Clark. Secondary was fine, linebackers were fine. Just awful. EB said this week you lose more games than you win. The Chiefs lost this game.

Burrow does have a chance to establish early legacy.

There were bad calls that changed the game.

But yes, there were more bad plays from the Chiefs in the second that coulda won them the game they didnt make.

Frank Clark is the reason we dont have multiple SBs.

Mahomes was running around like a random electric football player. Even went out of bounds when he shouldn't have. Burrow whatever his legacy is was gifted this one. He seems like a knee injury away from a studio job to me.

Didnt he already have a knee injury?
Now hes in the Super Bowl.

That is what I told my neighbor who is also a KU alum. I said something along the lines “well since KU got clobbered yesterday by UK, to cap off my weekend, the Chiefs will probably choke”. And that is exactly what happened to KU and the Chiefs..they choked.

He has some bad knees. One reason why the underdog bullshit narrative will prevail. I am going to avoid the sports media. The Chiefs lost because of 15. Playing effortless ball and then it was like his family had been kidnapped.

Also who is calling consecutive plays to DeMarcus Robinson?

Jesus.

Mahomes and Reid own this loss. Got too cocky. They deserve the loss. Quit fvckin around and score points. Defense was gassed.

It did.
The story was perfect for the Bengals to come back again.
But I'm not diving deep into a WWE conspiracy. That's all you.

Also Mahomes window may have just shut.

Unless he reworks the contract, he won't have the players to help him anymore.

Chiefs coaching staff (and the refs) had too much negative bearing on the outcome.
Huh? Mahomes made the terrible decision on the last play of the 1st half and sucked the entire 2nd half. WTF is the coaching ataff supposed to do about that?!?
You're a smarter guy than me.
Maybe I am wrong for believing the coaching staff had something to do with making the decision to NOT take 3 points before the half.
Maybe I am wrong for believing the offensive (and head) coaching staff called garbage offensive plays in the 2nd half - and overtime.
Maybe I am wrong for believing the defensive coaching staff helped allow a WAY inferior Bengals offense to come back from 18 points down.
The sideline woman literally talked to Reid coming out of halftime and said Reid was furious with the last play because Mahomes was supposed to throw the ball into the end zone. Had he done what he was supposed to they would have had time to go for 3. They talked about it in the broadcast starting the 3rd quarter.

He’s 26. And still mostly on a average per year less than some of the newer deals being done for QBs.

From what I have read, that is not the case at all. And his contract has plenty of space to get reworked in a few years.

I hate that sports are pretty vulnerable to this kind of thing. Being sponsored by Gambling Kings ain't optimal for faith. We saw an epic piss job. Mahomes switched and played the Grbac game when he was outplaying history. I will suspend disbelief. But wow.

I think his average per year, at 45 a year on avg, is the highest of all QBs.

I know there are ways to rework it.
Brady took cuts to win.
Mahomes will have to choose.

Frustratingly, the Chiefs got 12 sellouts that essentially are pocketed.
