Soft call? He tripped him. It wasn't intentional, but it doesn't have to be. Their feet got a little tangled. Bad luck. Wrong place Wrong time.

Yes, I felt it was a soft call. I'm hardly alone in feeling that way. Not saying I absolutely felt it shouldn't have been called, just saying I felt it was soft.

I have Argentina straight up and a 3 way parlay of Argentina winning, Mbappe to have a shot on goal, and Messi to score a goal.

Just a great world cup. All around. So many amazing moments and games.

I won’t pretend to know every final ever, but the majority of this game was actually garbage.

But now does have 2 world class goals. Better ending and highlights than game.

I did want Messi to score that screamer of a shot in the 97th-ish. Would have been soccer romantic. Obviously a great save by Lloris.

I sort of prefer this to be decided prior to PKs.

I wouldn’t say garbage, just dominated by Argentina. It wasn’t closely matched until Argentina let France back in.
