My Bernie assessment. He's a well intended clown and the majority (not all) of his "followers" are clowns too.
3 days ago I had to explain to several Bernie supporters that some of Bernie's beliefs are closer to Donald Trump's than Joe Biden's are. They disagreed with me. I asked them to explain in some detail why they disagreed. I didn't get a single semi-intelligent response. Actually, I didn't get any responses at all. Go figure.
Reminds me of 2008. I knew many people who not only supported Obama, they "campaigned" for him.
I let them try and convince me why I should vote for him. The majority couldn't come up with much more than "HOPE & CHANGE". I am convinced more than half of them supported Obama mainly because they though it was "cool"/"in vogue" to support him. Same with the Bernie supporters.

How are/were Bernie’s beliefs closer to Trump’s?

Ousy - I'm not sure if you're trying to bait me, I'm not sure if you disagree, and I'm not sure if you truly care. I'll assume you do care and I'll give you a response that may come off as snide. Not my intention. Perhaps instead of my providing links that support my belief, you might choose to do a tad bit of research on your own so you can come up with your own conclusion/s.

"Better" left town the afternoon of the inauguration when he tweeted about crowd size. Since then it's been increasing levels of "worse". And, here we are. Don't know if the country (or the world for that matter) can take any more of "worser"

Like I said - I look forward to seeing the alternative you all provide. The Bad Touch Joe/Madea ticket is a pretty sad start.
