We have a GOOD team.
We literally do not have a good team.
I get that we can’t blame the previous shit on Les and co. I’m hoping for six wins next year. I think we can get there.

Your definition of "good" is above average. Other people consider "good" to mean above average KU football team the past decade.

I think we are very close to having a good team.
I think 5 wins is possible next season. If next years team has this year’s conference schedule, I would think 6 wins would be possible.

A good team for me means at least .500.
If we are grading on a Jayhawk curve, yes, we have a good team.

Fair. Or rather, hopefully fair.

Very random but I just got a text from a friend of mine who asked if Les was retiring after tomorrow...

Same. Seems it’s originating from the Tater losers, but who knows.

Interesting. Haven’t seen or heard anything. Don’t know why he would. He seems to be in great shape. Loves the guys at KU. Wanted to work with Jeff Long. Progress being made.

He had heard it from his older brother, who is a KU law grad living in Omaha. Who knows.
Interesting the Hayseeders may be behind this. They are going to get a stark taste of reality next year when they lose 90% of their team.
If he did, and I don’t believe he will I would be surprised. While he doesn’t seem as sharp as he did at LSU he still is better than any of the previous coaches we have had. I thought he looked about as sharp and fiery against ISU as he has all year.

Game 1 - Barely beat a not good Indiana State team
Game 2 - Lost at home to Coastal Carolina
Game 3 - Won the Super Bowl at B.C. People thought we were going Bowling after that game and that Les Miles was more of a God than Bill Self.
Game 4 - Back to reality. Lost our first conference game at home but people still felt hopeful.
Game 5 - TCU made us their bitch and all of a sudden KU Football was back to being KU Football.
Game 6 - Moral victory only losing by 25 to Oklahoma.
Game 7 - Back to a tease in that we gave Texas all they could handle at Texas. People felt we were actually a good team and that we would be competitive in most if not all of our remaining games.
Game 8 - HOORAY! A conference win against TTU. Who would finish as the 2nd worst team in the Big 12.
Game 9 - Lost by 28 to the Cats. Beginning of the end for the Jayhawks.
Game 10 - Gave OK State a game but still lost by 18.
Game 11 - Gave ISU a game but still lost by 10.
Game 12 - Got our asses handed to us on a silver platter and were fucking terrible yesterday.
Nice that people can see sunlight on a gloomy rainy day.
Problem is no matter how you slice it the bottom line is wins and loses.
Overall 3-9
1-8 in the Big 12.
In other words, in terms of Ws and Ls, this was a typical KU Football JUNK season!
Wait till next year! CFP!

Half of Twitter talking about Les retiring cuz he has Alzheimer's'; the other half are Michigan/Mizzou/South Carolina fans demanding that their school hire him ASAP.

3 wins was where I thought we would end up.
I definitely see improvement, and I am looking forward to this team getting better.

With all due respect, that's too easy. Teams are people.
We made a stride or two in HCLM's
inaugural season; not necessarily reflected in the record.
imo, of course.

He was referring to a pro mindset.
There's a distinction.
