I don't know what the hell I did, but my lower back is jacked up and painful right now. Was going to do yardwork, but there's no way.
Nice excuse. Hope you’re really just sitting on the porch with a bourbon.

That sucks, but take Vega's advice. Kick back and enjoy the weekend. I need to mow the front, but think I'll wait till tomorrow or Monday.
I can literally hurt myself doing anything around the house, it's crazy. I've been slowly putting one of my trikes back together and keep getting frustrated because I didn't do a very good job of labeling bolts and such. Now I find myself spending way too much time on something that should take 15 minutes. Much easier to tear down than to put back together...lol

Nope, no bourbon. Working tonight.
Sticking to beer. Ain't going to knock it.
Seriously though, hope your back feels better. Back issues suck.

Welp guys. Mrs. Newton is a nurse for a small community hospital and in her department (surgery) they are being furloughed. So basically jobless. Mrs Newton is now likely going to do travel nursing to a Covid hotspot and go that way as we can’t afford the unemployment as it stands now in Kansas even with the expansion.
I’d appreciate some good thoughts headed my way during this time. It’s tough going for sure. I’m hoping for the absolute best.
Update. Once things are cleared up in terms of certifications and all that, Mrs Newton is about to sign a 4 week for Detroit (Yuck) short term for her and I and it pays pretty well. Michigan has 3rd most cases. She’s going with a friend from her same department. But she’ll be back by mid-May and should resume her position at her hospital soon after.

Best of luck to her -- and you.
Additionally, much thanks to her.

yeah, that's big of her, and of you, Newton.
I have a lot of fam in the SE Michigan area. Lemme know if you need recommendations on stuff to do - you know, since there's soo much to do right now.

Give her my thanks and well-wishes. Been too wrapped up with New York, I missed how much numbers in Michigan has been affected. Saw some of them this morning, and looks terrible up there. Hopefully it will be a gratifying experience for her.

My thoughts are also w/ you Newton. Really tough spot for you--I wouldn't be able to handle it as well as you seem to be.

Newton, like everyone else, I'll be thinking about you and your wife and hoping for the best. Keep us updated when you get the chance.

Just keep watching Chiefs and Jayhawks highlights and the time will fly by. I hope she stays safe and healthy in the 313!

99's back is not better.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you get better soon.
But, I'm worried about you. Because based on your descriptions over the years, every time you mention your wife, and especially now that you're not 100%, I think of this:

Did you hurt it bringing in the giant ellipitical machine that your wife had delivered since gyms are closed right now and that the fedex guy decided to drop off at the furthest possible spot from your home that could still be considered technically on your property?

Cause that's why mine is hurting.
If I would have known then what I know now, I would have told Mrs. Fish that her home gym can be set up in the front room off the entry only, and nowhere more distant (like a den upstairs).
