This is really it. Shit happens when you use a bad format for determining the best teams. By the time Self retires, there still won't be a big enough sample of E8 games to really say anything conclusive.

I think in now 9 Elite Eight games, the only two we played well were UNC 2012 and Duke 2018. We survived Davidson 2008, had a tough loss in a slow, ugly game to Nova 2016, and some real turds in the others. Hopefully this becomes a second ugly win.

So, you agree, it doesn't benefit us to play double digit seeds in the E8.
