Actually, before Larry Brown, K-State was the B8 bell cow. There's no cherry picking. It's what it is, the Big 8.
During the Big 8's existence:
Kansas: 1246 wins, 10 Final Fours, 2 National Championships
You're being completely obtuse. The question was about K-State's tradition of excellence that attracted Jerome Tang to Manhattan. We all recognize KU's complete dominance of lil brother after the 80s ended and Lonnie Kruger left.

Never understood why Kansas State fans pose as KU fans on KU message boards. Happens a lot on phog.net too.
Anyway, Jerome Tang did not go to Kansas State because their fans think they were KU's equal prior to 1986.

No one suggested he did that. K-State was superior to KU prior to the 90s in the Big 8. And I'm not posing as a KU fan. This is just a good place for chat between rivals.

Who was that one kstate that posted on EVERY board possible regarding local (KU, kstate, Misery) He was like a former mayor of Manhattan or something.

No. And, this is the definition of cherrypicking. Only picking part of the Big 8's history and only some of the stats to support your argument.
Also, no Kansas State fan would ever call themselves "little brother." It's an odd way to try to fit in.

I was curious exactly what it does take to draw a coach who’s previous head coaching experience was at a hoops powerhouse like Heritage Christian Academy.

That was your chant (lil brother) following the victory at AFH, not mine. I thought it was weird too given that with football, K-State leads the series this year 2-1.

One of my favorite timmy moments from the previous boards is Bob posting a tweet of a video of his son counting a supposed 5-second violation by KU. Poor guy didn't know how to count or how long a second was. One of the best self-owns we've seen.

How did we make it that 2 weeks after the kitties close OT victory without Timmy showing up?
How did he only show up after getting his ass kicked again in AFH anyway?

Kansas State has won 19 Conference Championships.
KU won its 20th Conference Championship in 1938. That was 85 years ago. Franklin Roosevelt was in his 2nd of 4 Presidential terms.
This is absurd.
Yeah, but if you cherry pick the stats to ONLY be for the Big 8 then they skew in the favor of KSU for a little while. You can only look at the specific slice of history that they choose to make KSU look somewhat more relevant.
