So, am I trippin', or is the Bills vs. the Chargers game tonight only on Peacock?
You're not trippin'.
I have the Pcock but feel it's absolutely asinine.
Thanks, I do too, but found it hard to believe.
Thought you might be in Vegas for NW vs Utah Las Vegas Bowl.
Edited to add: I asked because if there's an alternative I'd want to know, because streaming sucks.
Unfortunately I was not in Vegas. Watched the entire game at home.
Unfortunately I won't be in LA for the Rose Bowl. Will watch the game at home.
Meanwhile, "unfortunately" I WILL be at the Bears game tomorrow.

The NFL feels very ironclad in popularity and seems hard to fuck up at this point but this channel “diversification” ( chasing dollar bills ) I don’t think is a positive factor for even them.

I'm not smart. I have to assume it's "contract" $ they are choosing over catering to their fans.
I just don't understand how in any way it is a good thing for the NFL - for their fans to not be able to watch a game.
Moving on but on a semi-related note. As a non Christian, I don't mind games on Christmas Day. I don't understand the need for it/them. I heard yesterday that moving forward, the NFL will play Christmas Day games even if Christmas falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Worthless predictions.
A. I lose the Crimson.com Fantasy Championship. Funny to attend a meaningless Bears/Cards game and yet what happens in the game will be the difference between a W or an L for me - so I have a feeling I will be overly animated and embarrassing.
B. Horseshoes 24 / Falcs 20
Hawks 27 / Tits 17
Lions 27 / Vikes 28
Commies 23 / Planes 24
Wisco Fudge 23 / Pants 24
What has UPS done for you 23 / Tex 23
Jagoffs 24 / NFC Pirates 23
Pokes 31 / Phins 24
Pats 17 / Donks 24
AFC Pirates 20 / Indian Leaders 30
GMen 14 / Green and Sliver Birds 30
Raves 27 / 20 less than 69ers 24

Three thoughts after yesterday's games....
1. Justin Fields may be the most talented QB I have ever seen play for the Bears.
Justin Fields sucks. Some reasons why I say that 38 games in to his NFL career.......
Too often the guy takes way too long to make decisions. His "situational awareness" sucks.
Too often the guy under throws or over throws his receivers.
Too often the guy doesn't know how to look for an open receiver or check off of a covered receiver.
2. Our suite is next to the Bears President & CEO's Suite.
Not sure why but Kevin Warren (Bears President & CEO) seems to not like me.
He looks at me with a sour face. Fuck 'im.
Anyways, all 20 or so of the people in their suite felt the need to participate in a prayer circle before the game. A couple of the people sort of had a wtf look on their faces. I'm not against people praying. I am against people feeling obligated to pray with others. At a sporting event.
Which brings me to... I was sitting with a co-worker and her mother. I asked if I should tell the CEO of the company I work for (my Cousin) that I feel we should say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, sing the Star Spangled Banner, and then have a prayer circle, at the start of every day in the office.
3. "It's been 30 years since we won a championship"
Congrats Danny! You won the NFC North in a season where the 3 other teams suck.
You and your team won the right to get your ass/es kicked in the playoffs. I have zero doubt it will happen.

Russell Wilson sat for the rest of the Broncos season so they don't risk an injury that would guarantee him 37 million in 2025. What this likely means?
He gone next season and the Broncos will just eat his 39 million for him not to play for them.
2 1sts, 2 2nds, Drew Lock, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris for 2 meh seasons and 39 mill off the cap next season.
Hate to see it.

Looking back, really makes the Seahawks look smart for knowing when it was time to cut ties.

It's so hard to overcome such a bad move, especially of that magnitude, in the short term.

Cannot
wait for Touchdown Tom to flap his gums over the rest of the division laying down to Mahomes.

Joey says "There he is" (a couple of times).
What I occasionally say when I forgot someone's name.
The comment at the top is great.
P.S. The first Jet is "Sneezing Guy".

Same crew that missed the MVS PI call that cost KC the Packers game flubbed the GW 2pt conversion call that cost Detroit the game last night and that will have major playoff implications.
There's no conspiracy to screw the Chiefs. The Refs just fucking suck at their job.

The NFL is a big entertainment business. The scheduling of six bye week and half bye week opponents didn't happen by accident to end the season. But it is a sad state of affairs when gross incompetence looks like malfeasance. I noticed on a key sack that a Detroit lineman's hand was well over the sacred LOS without a call. I prayed for the officials. Such a grievous competitive error must not go unpunished. God heard the prayer and told them the lineman had not "checked-in" on the play of the season. I was hoping the refs would ruin the game after three hours and cried tears of joy. Afterwards, the refs signed their jerseys and threw them into a sea of fans. Jerry Jones did not kick a child on his way out, so great was the miracle he had experienced.
