I think a one year deal with Allen Robinson would make sense for both parties.
I think guys like Robinson and JuJu can be had on a 1 or 2 year deal for a reasonable price after the seasons of injuries they had. KC can get an upgrade there. Then figure out their RB situation and start working on the defense. They were good against shitty teams but they got torched by good teams.

Ugh, I hate today. So depressing to see the Chiefs season end like that in the same weekend that KU gets completely exposed as a pretend contender.

I'm just not sold on Spanguola.
JuJu sounds like he wants to be a Steeler for life but you'd take him.
As far as RB, could you see what James Conner wants? Or Sony Michel?
Someone to balance CEH/McKinnon's styles.

On RB, they have Williams to balance the styles if they want him back. Need one more burner receiver. Cover corners and an edge. Plus Zack Greinke's therapists.

We don't need a burner receiver.
We need a strength/possession/win jump balls receiver.

Fortin to me is that guy. Hope he recovers.

I think Juju just wanted to finish out with Big Ben. Maybe he would be more open to leaving now, not sure. Haven't read anything from him this offseasin.

Kelce wasn't wide open but by NFL standards he was open. Patrick, has to get to his drop, plant that back foot and let it rip. Same thing for when Pringle broke wide open. Hell, Patrick has enough natural arm talent he could have made that 40 yard throw off his back foot.

This. All of this. We have enough burner WRs on this roster between Reek and Hardman, who, btw played really really well down the stretch.
This offense would be so much better if they had a Tee Higgins type. Big, strong guy who can go high point the 50/50 balls on 3rd and 6. Much of KCs offense for WRs getting open is scheme. I want a big WR who can win 1 on 1s in the crunch time. Maybe Powell can take a huge step in the off-season or any of the other free agents available would be nice.

"Tee Higgins type"
Or, DK Metcalf.

Plenty of options out there in free agency and a few will likely have lowered price tags thanks to injury and a lot of quality available.

Clark frees some working room. I am impressed with the Chief's drafts lately. Everyone seemed to hit this year or at least work toward a roster spot.

Chiefs draft this year was good - they hit pretty big on 3 picks.
Gutter's Bears may have stolen some of the thinking behind that.
We really need to let go of Spags.
What's it going to take?
We were 31st in YPC rush defense. 24th in YPA pass defense. 27th in pass yards allowed. 27th in total defense.

The annual Spags timeline is so weird.

He feasted on some pretty mediocre teams and people thought he had righted the ship.
After the beatdown in Tennessee we got NYG at home ( minus Barkley ), Green Bay ( down Rodgers ), Vegas ( we own Carr ), Dallas ( down Lamb and Cooper ), Denver and Vegas again.
Even with those teams, we finished 27th overall.

I heard this could be a possibility but Spags could retire. Didn't think it was possible, but the man is 62! Spags is also losing almost all of the signings that he wanted, Clark, Mathieu, Hitchens, Reed and others.
Also Andy is 63. KC needs some new blood in on both sides of the ball.

After that offensive collapse where we stopped running with them giving us 3 in the box, yea, both sides of the ball might make sense.
