Does it really matter that much?
To some it does.
Does anything really matter that much? Hard to define "that much".
Does it really matter that much that Kobe is getting all the love he is getting?
Of course he knows that Kansas City is also in Missouri; of course he knows that the Chiefs are based on the Missouri side; of course he knows that Kansas voted for him and Missouri against him. It is yet another way of using Twitter to flip the bird to those who do not support him.

It is childish and silly, but not unlike the message sent by The Academy when they awarded a Grammy - their highest honor for music - to Moose Obama for essentially reading the book ghost-written for her into a computer. They know that, despite the fact it is not important in the whole scheme of worldwide problems - it will enrage a segment of the population whom they hold in contempt and see as inferior to themselves.

It is all dumb and none of it enriches our lives or makes the world a better place, but it is, unfortunately, human nature.
"Of course" you are making assumptions - and stating false things
Missouri voted against Trump in 2016? No.

Ok. My bad. McCaskill's Tweet crossed me up. The rest rings at least somewhat true, n'est-ce pas?

They did toss the tweeter in the OP out on her ass in the middle of a Democratic wave.

Does that help?

Yet more confirmation that the republican business model relying on low-information, anti-intellectual voters, is a winning strategy.

And that the Democratic liberal delusion of intellectual and moral superiority will continue to ensure that they never reach outside their tight circle of exclusivity.

Nice! Bluster with a side of Non Sequitur. I knew you could change things up a little bit if you just put your mind to it. Next task: finding something to pair with the Martyr Card.

Sorry to interrupt kids. Anyone see the video of Trump at Mar-a-Lago during the Super Bowl national anthem? What an asshat!

I know, right?

But if I were you I’d just be glad Trump’s disrespect for the national anthem was limited to childish dumbness, rather than something that might actually require a response from conservatives, like kneel.

That was disrespectful? But Beyonce and Jay-Z sitting is okay?

Just asking. Since each side is only outraged by 1 of the instances.

I wasn't bothered by either, personally. Although I wouldn't act in either of those ways.
