Everyone needs to accept facts as facts.

We can have a debate about what minimum wage should be, but not if one party insists that 4+4=13.

It's not a debate when someone's argument is entirely based on lies, and they ignore all the evidence that is available.

I have had numerous debates with PhD on this site in which we thoroughly disagreed with each other's point of view. Neither of us resorted to spewing blatantly false information in an attempt to win the debate like some of the nonsense that gets thrown out here.

Anybody have one of these Bartesians? My neighbor has one and I tried it out last night. Pretty cool. Not sure I would use it a lot, but great if you socialize a lot or frequently have friends/family over. I'm considering pulling the trigger.

Awesome! A solution for a problem you didn’t know you had, or one that needed solving. I saw a prototype for a version of this at a Maker Faire about a decade ago. Always thought it would never be more than a novelty.
