I don't think they'll move at all. I think they'll just adjust without The K there and put some restaurants and a hotel or 2 down there too to help with those who travel from out of town.
The Merriam Monarchs has a nice ring to it.

I meant the little dog in the Wizard of Oz.
And you could play the band Toto at half time.

It's looking more and more like it'll take a 1st to land him, which, with two, I would gladly spend on a guy that could be our DK Metcalf.

If the Chiefs hang onto both firsts, and Ojabo is on the board, that's a must.

An absolute must. If they get Ojabo at 29 and a Pickens at 30, the Chiefs will get an A for those 2 picks alone.

You guys want the Chiefs to draft a guy with an Achilles problem - and if he never plays a down for the team then you'll be cool with that?
Of course on the flip side, if he does play and is an every season All-Pro.....

With one of two first round picks? Yes, absolutely.

Absent a year wrecked by a Mahomes injury, the Chiefs just don't project to be in a position all that often to acquire this sort of talent. If it's just one of two first round picks, the downside risk is well worth the return potential.

Not only that, but 1st rounders get the 5th year option. If you can "redshirt" a guy with that potential, you do it.

KC is best at finding overlooked stars. This is a tremendous opportunity. I do want some defensive depth.

The soonest KC will be in ‘rebuilding mode’ is 2037

Chiefs are in rebuilding mode like KU would be in rebuilding mode if they lost Braun but kept Jalen.

Toney up for a trade out of NY.
I’d give them the mid 2nd (50th) pick if they’d take that.

Already looking to trade a guy one year after they took him in the first round is a red flag. I'm not convinced he offers you anything more than Hardman already does right now. I'd rather see KC draft another receiver with one their first 4 picks than trade one for a WR. Veach's comments yesterday made it sound like that was their intent.
