The nursing home death declines should be all anyone needs to see. Saving lives is somehow a debatable issue.
The worst thing that happened in our country for this pandemic was making it a political issue.
Replace the word "worst" with "most predictable" and the statement is still true.

I wonder how much of a political issue it would have been if we didn’t have a potus who was trying to downplay it for political gain, trying to defy health precautions in the name of personal freedom, trying to argue with the doctors about it, etc

Two false positives and then a negative? Do you think you should go back and get tested again? 😏

sadly, that’s a pretty generous assessment

Everyone: This shouldn't be a political issue

Ousdahl: Makes it political.

This...is what prompted this.

I think science (the vaccines and future treatments) are what's going to solve the problem. Not politics.

Ousdahl thinks more bitching and moaning will solve all of life's problems.

i agree whole-heartedly with that sentiment

but, the time for this being a-political went out the window before it was even a pandemic, when trump was so hell-bent i’m doing away with anything Obama-related that he dismantled our early warning system...specifically because of politics (namely an idiot president), we’ve been behind the 8 ball since before day 1

i also think it’s important that we not forget where mistakes were made, lest we be doomed to repeat them in the future

I point out the politician who made it political, and you start attacking me personally. I’m not trying to play any victim card here, and don’t know why you think so.

I agree that science, not politics, is what will solve the problem. So please explain that to the “BUT MAH RIGHTS” crowd.

anywho so moving right along.

Beav wants me to pick up some prescription for him. Am I allowed to just walk into the pharmacy and do that?

I told him to call ahead and say his roommate will pick it up?

My daughter has picked up prescriptions for me. I think if you show an ID with the same address they would be fine. CVS just asks for the birthday of the person.

You can always pull the “he’s positive for the fungus (sorry couldn’t resist), are you sure you want him to come in pick it up himself?” line of response!
