He thought Ted was thirsty.

In Texas they throw Stone Cold Steve Austin beers like that all the time.

Incredible how she believes Jesus gives a damn about her.
If Jesus was alive today I'm confident he would not just think, but know, she is a complete c _ _ _ .

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

And before anyone calls me a misogynist, let’s instead give her the “freedom of religion” benefit of the doubt, and realize such a career move could very well be prompted by a vision from Jesus in which He tells her she has a better chance of getting into to heaven as a sex worker.

Not a bad question!

Smart ass me says - The white blank space between Good morning! and Jesus is Lord
Respectful me say - She doesn't.
I assume you know a little bit about her and what she is obsessed with saying and doing is convincing her cult followers that Jesus controls the world and cares about her.
I could come up with at least 10 things she's happily said in regards to Jesus that are bat shit crazy.
Only a complete asshole would say and do what she does and extremely naive and gullible people take her word/s about Jesus as being more than a giant turd. I might actually give her some credit for being smart enough to realize it - and that's why she does it - but the only thing I choose to give her credit for is being an asshole and the vile c word.
P.S. She's the epitome of what a Christian should NOT be.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

a man who complains so much quoting one of the more historically famous stoics, is interesting.

Also, for all your railing against imperialism...you choose a roman to quote.

all that said, it's a pretty good quote.

Looks like Boebert is going to fricking win.
I will laugh if Frisch calls for a recount and she goes off on him for it.

Back in the day when the internet was just an innocent little child, about 30 years ago, some of us old people (we were young then 😄) used to hang around this place called usenet. Not much has changed by way of content or the tone of the conversation except that it was done on primitive equipment. But I digress…….there was a Wise Man named Oliver, used the inhabit the environs of the University of Wisconsin, who had a Divine Epiphany. It became known as Oliver’s Woofing Theorem. It could still be discovered using modern archeological tools such as Google.

It appears from the latest Lake-Cheney encounter that Oliver’s Theorem has universal applicability including the world of politics. All Hail Prophet Oliver!!!

https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/13/opinions ... index.html

Some reasons Trump's base loves him:

- Openly admits that system is rigged towards rich people as he regularly cheats said system
- Bigotry/Misogyny/Racism
- Massive tax cuts for wealthy and corporations along with reduction in oversight, auditing and environmental regulation means more money for the ultra wealthy and corporations, some of which might trickle down to the regular citizens
- "Own the libs"
- Not PC/"woke"

Does that about cover it or are there more to add?
