well, if the nba can successfully quarantine the whole league in some bubble, maybe.

But yea, just wait til Game 7 and Lebron tests positive.

KU is trending to land 4* potential two sport athlete Keon Coleman. He is announcing tomorrow at 7CDT.

My wheat, it is ready.

The Jayhawks are coming.

Man I just came here for that. Almost all the “crystal ball” predictions by those in the know have flipped from OU to KU. Including those who have had a 100% prediction for 2021 recruits. It’s going to happen.

Top 50 WR in 2021 class. From Louisiana so losing Hull hasn’t dropped Louisiana recruiting. 247 has him as 116 player in class while the composite shows 258.

Big time player. That 2021 class is shaping up to be the what KU has ever had with Neal from Lawrence and now potentially this kid.

2021 potentially might have 4 WRs. 3 of them are 6’2 plus. The other is a 5’10 slot guy. Les and Dearmon like those big WRs. They’re going after them too.

KU suspending voluntary workouts after 16 tests in athletic department and 14 in football.

We all knew coming into this that Les could ‘croot. The question was could he make that qualify on the field. I was getting excited to see a full year of Dearmon. Every day that passes makes me believe that may not happen.

I’ve heard that a good number of those tests came from the Hawk. I don’t know how you can expect a college kid not to be a college kid.

I guess Self talked to Coleman about basketball. We'll find out in a few hours.

Yea but thats the problem. If their gonna "be college kids" then they arent gonna get to play this season

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for a coach to say, “you guys are D1 athletes, and thousands of other kids would give anything for the opportunity, so we’re holding you to a high standard and expecting you to NOT go hang at a frat bar during a pandemic.”

This is a reasonable, accommodating and perhaps-even classy policy from the Chiefs:

If that happens in Big 12, I don't see how that benefits KU.

I'm still in the camp that a canceled season would certainly be better than a disjointed one. And next would be a full season starting in the fall.

We need some non-con games to get the true frosh those free games before they burn the RS's. A season in the spring also means we'd probably lose some seniors making the roster even more depleted. Plus, going like 1-8.

Big 10 only conference.
I'm guessing all conferences will announce this and then eventually cancel fall sports.

These big conference teams were never going to play those non-con buy games without the guarantee of having 100k in the stands.

And also, consider that we, a big-conference team, have played many many buy games with fewer than 25,000 people in the stands.
