He's never led the league in rushing, touchdowns or Y/A. Was never first team All-Pro,
But hey if Jerome Bettis is in Canton, than maybe Gore will be too. He's very much on the fringe.

I don't think I'd vote for him, either.
But, like I said, he's going to be the fringe player in eras for RB's. Being on that fringe, I'm not sure if it helps or hurts him.

He's a no doubter. He's third all time in rushing yards and 4th in yards from scrimmage. 9 seasons of 1,000+ yards. Those are automatic type numbers. And he's still playing.

He's going to Canton. Which is sort of nuts!
Is he? Longevity is a big plus for him.
But was he ever a top 5 back in the NFL? Maybe a year or two..? I would like to think Hall of Fame means being top 5 at your position for a considerable amount of time.
Same situation for Eli Manning

I respect Gore's longevity more than Eli's.
Eli obviously with the two trump cards.

Right, Longevity means a lot more for a RB than a QB.

Chiefs schedule scroll up from the tweet. Only 6 noon kickoffs. 5 primetime games. Other games at 3:30.

Tampa of course remains to be seen how much they improve with Brady but I think we take em.

I know TB has made other improvements but what makes people believe 2020 Tom Brady will have a better season for TB than Jameis Winston had in 2019?
I predict if there is a full season - Chiefs relatively healthy with no major injuries to Mahomes = 15-1

Brady will throw 20 fewer interceptions.
Last season Brady had Edelman and....?
Now he’s got Evans and Godwin and Gronk.
I’d say he gets something like 4,300, 30 and 10.

Chiefs have a BRUTAL schedule weeks 11-15. Have bye on week 10 then go at Raiders, at Bucs, home against Broncos, at Dolphins and at Saints.

I think Chiefs have a chance to go 13-3. Losses to Ravens, Bills and Saints.
They’re going to be so good. With an improved running game and a defense who will largely be the same defense. Defense was outstanding last half of year. Should be a fun year for KC.

Thanks for responding to my question! I wasn't asking for any other reason than simply wondering what people thought. I'll respond to what you posted - not for "argument/s sake" so much as I'm just sharing my thoughts....
A) We don't know he will throw 20 fewer picks but it's probably a safe assumption.
B) What Brady had with NE has nothing to do with what he will have in TB. I agree assuming his WRs and TE stay healthy - he has some high quality weapons - but so did Winston.
C) I don't think too many people will tell me Brady is more mobile than Winston. Granted, Winston probably doesn't have as good of an eye nor as quick of a release as Brady has but Winston was sacked 47 times last season. I don't know what improvements TB made on their OL (they weren't bad at all - and Winston was still sacked 47 times) but if they didn't make many, I would fear for Brady's safety.
D) Assuming he and his receivers stay healthy - I think you might be pretty spot on with your predictions. If so, then I say it's better than what Winston did last season. Despite it being less yards and less TD. Fewer interceptions being the HUGE difference maker.

You say BRUTAL but you only have them losing 1 of those 5 games. That's a great thing if it happens. Of course it would be better if they went 5-0 but I think most Chiefs fans would be happy with 4-1 if the Chiefs still end up with the best record in the AFC.
My worthless opinion is that a healthy Chiefs team is better than every other team. Therefore, I might assume they could lose a game or two but maybe it's foolish of me to say - I expect them to win every game they play.
Based on last season I am not worried about the Raiders. Sure the Raiders should be improved but the Chiefs beat them 2 games by a combined 68-19 score.
Tampa Bay - We'll see. If they are playing well and on a roll, it should be a tough game. I still feel the Chiefs are a TD better than the Buccs.
Broncos - Another team that should be improved but the Chiefs beat them twice last season by a combined score of 53-9.
Phins - Can't be much worse than last season. Healthy Chiefs play a B+ or better game, they win by at least 2 TD. No matter how well the Phins play.
Saints - Should be the toughest game of the season. I believe the Chiefs are the better team and I'll always take who I feel is the better team.

Regarding your C point. Their OL is still in the bottom half of the league. But they did draft a starter in Tristan Werths who will start either at RT or at the G position.
I think the biggest advantage between Brady and Winston is Brady usually makes the smart play. Whether that's doing a smart throw away when opposing team is blitzing or a checkdown when the deep ball is covered more than usual. Brady is infinitely smarter than Jameis. Bruce Arians has flat out said he thinks the 30 INTs cost them last year. They were a 7-9 team. Imagine if the INTs was at say 15-20. That team might have been the 2nd WC team at 10-6.

Are we really trying to argue why Tom Brady > Jameis Winston?

I honestly found the schedule release to be depressing knowing I can't start researching road trips. Both Vikings and Chiefs play in Tampa. Tampa sucks, but the weather is nice and I have yet to see GOAT play. Both Vikes and Chiefs play in New Orleans aka petri dish. No international games to contemplate. Even a Vegas NFL + sportsbook bender wouldn't be terrible. Boo.
Sorry if that is piss in your Friday morning cheerios.
