Hey, on the plus side, all of these military surplus vehicles sure do look scary and tough in B-roll footage of sites where mass shootings have failed to have been prevented by lawmakers and law enforcement.

I would be in favor of most of the usual ideas for reducing gun violence.

I would also be in favor of a couple more under-the-radar things: (1) mandatory liability insurance for gun ownership (just like cars), and (2) a massive federal gun buyback program, to encourage people to surrender guns in exchange for tax credits.
