Lack of institutional control according to NCAA:

Question: "What is it?"

Answer: "Don't know, we just see it when we decide to see it!"

For the major recruiting violations, agreed, flimsy stuff. Everyone misses the major detail about the alleged KT texts.

Feels like this "investigation" has been going on forever. Wasn't illy's first meltdown on this topic back on the .net?

Honestly, i don't even want to type what I think will happen because I am afraid I will jinx it. I just like the way this recent case for NC State went. They actually played multiple games with a guy who got paid. KU didn't. Smith played more than 1,100 minutes for NC State. None of the guys that KU is allegedly involved with played a single minute for KU except for the Diallo situation which the NCAA itself has already dealt with. It would be absurd for them to punish us again for the same thing.

God no. My first meltdown ever was about how so many of you guys were way too fucking high on Conner Frankamp and that Frank Mason was better.

My meltdown turned to be out the truth. So there's that.

My first ever meltdown was after KU lost to UCLA in 07 on dotcom.

A few months back didn’t they announce we can expect an outcome in fall 2021?

Oh!

The announcer mentioned OSU’s ban handed down in November, which reminds me:

Wasn’t our case’s timeline supposed to have something happen by fall 2021?

And this is the biggest reason why I have always been a little nervous about our investigation. Prosecutor, Judge, and Jury is all one party. Burn it the fuck down.

Does it make you a little nervous that it appears it's possible to probable that our coaches knew some to much of what was going on?

I read it more as, CnB is nervous cuz the NCAA may have already made up their minds that our coaches knew what was going on without bothering to seek evidence about as much either way.

But don’t let me speak for CnB.

Rather, let CnB speak for me.

That’s why he’s my lawyer.

No, because your above assumption is not fact. Or, at the very least, you have no idea if it is or not.

More like, why would we search for the truth? We just know what result we want, and we're allowed to get there any way we want to. See Ollie, Kevin; and The University of Missouri; The University of North Carolina, et al.

It’s quite possible that an objective trier of fact would look at all the available evidence and conclude there’s more to suggest we didn’t know what was going on than did.

But the NCAA says, hold my beer and watch this.

Once again bear in mind, the court trial found KU didn’t know they were being defrauded. That’s how fraud works.

The NCAA’s case is basically that KU should have known they were being defrauded anyway.
