Good for Svi. He might actually get some minutes in Charlotte.

He might have to beat out another KU guy to do so.

He can't beat out Oubre unfortunately. Oubre is a stud.
Kind of shocked a contender didn't go after him. His hand being hurt probably didn't help.

Devonte (and four second-round picks) to the Spurs for Josh Richardson.

Of course Oubre is going to play ahead of Svi but he's currently out and when he comes back he's not going to be playing 48 minutes a game. Meanwhile, looks like the Hornets just acquired Mr. October.
I wonder if Svi is aware of how his current 15-41 teammates are perceived. Maybe he would have preferred to have stayed in NY - not playing.

I'm going to need to spend a little time figuring out who went where with all the trades.
I do know Braun stayed in Denver and played last night. Not a good game for the young man and his team.
19 minutes, 0 points (0-2 fg), 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 1 steal, game worst -22.

Didn’t really like Oubre here.
Don’t like him in the NBA even more.
And he’s actually not a stud. He’s one of the very least efficient players in the NBA. And not a good defender.

I have watched a ton of Oubre the last few years. Sounds like we have very different opinions on him. I think he is an above average NBA defender. And dude is averaging 20pts a game this season (before he got hurt). I don't know many non studs who average 20pts a game.

I thought he was our best player as a freshman. Except when he didn't bother trying.
His crimscore has gotta be top 5 for freshmen under Self, right?

No.
He’s around 14th.
The mobile crim experience isn’t as good as desktop but I think here’s some guys above him:
Jackson
Wiggins
Embiid
McLemore
Dick
Henry
Rush
Chalmers
Dotson
Arthur
Wright
Tyshawn
Giddens
Also Perry and Frank were definitely better players that season.

Metrics say otherwise.
He is the 5th least efficient player in the NBA on offense and has negative defensive stats on his team across the board.

San Antonio seems like a good destination for Devonte to "resurrect" his career.

Give the guy some minutes and allow him to take shots.......
Goes to show you how thin of a line there is between success and failure in the NBA for some players.
Games last night....
Graham - 37 min, 9-22 fg, 6-16 3pt, 3 reb, 3 ast, 0 to, 31 pts
Embiid - 38 min, 14-18 fg, 11 reb, 6 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, 35 pts
Oubre - DNP Hand
Och - started 19 min, 1 reb, 5 points
Dok - 16 min, 4 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk, 6 pts
MKMo - DNP CD
MCMo - 31 min, 0 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 15 pts
