where was it the other day that I read about some journalist who got access to the Obama White House in 2014. They said the place was buzzing, with all hands on deck, everyone there devoting time and resources and rallying against a common issue.
what's the issue?
"Ebola. We're trying like the heck to make sure this doesn't become a problem in Merica."

Oh yeah. Thanks.
I’m glad I used the “they” pronoun, cuz I otherwise remember that dude being a girl.

At this moment in time, I cannot think of anything more ESSENTIAL than someone or some business that can practice their craft safely without putting anyone else in harms way. If you can do that, and keep your little portion of the economy rolling without putting anyone else in harms way, you are essential in my book.
Do you refuse to bring life preservers on the boat too?
Speaking of life preservers....someone sent me one of those pictures on WhatsApp which said:
"
"The curve is flattening; we can start lifting restrictions now" = "The parachute has slowed our rate of descent; we can take it off now"

If I can digest the current explanation so far it is:
The China-lab-man created a virus in a lab so the entire world could blame a bunch of deaths on a virus in order to control the November United States election and ultimately have the executive branch rescind the 2nd Amendment, take away guns, and do what they've always wanted: complete control of the least populated rural counties in America
pretty much

If your part of the world is like my part of the world, and I bet it is, it is very random what is considered essential. And what is not.
That is mostly what has us Michiganders frustrated.
If all is well and good in michland, why are they importing nurses from Newton, KS to Detroit?

But it's also a bit over reactionary and has been a suppression of freedom.
And the more important question to ask is "Why?"
It's not a coup.
Tin foil isn't being hoarded, you should be able to get some more.
One thing I have learned in twenty years of doing therapy with people is that there are always two reasons for everything: the reason you're willing to admit and the real one. True story.

So how deep is it?
Did we coordinate with China?
Is the media all fake and we are all living a USA Truman Show?
Is it just you in the Truman Show? Is it just me?

Honest question: knowing full well that the former is not the actual chain of events, how can you argue the latter?

The curve is definitely not flattening - especially in "rural states."

I social distance every where else I go when I am out in public. I wonder why I wouldn’t at the golf course. Imagine how easy it is to social distance at the golf course. Players can walk. One rider per cart.
Pretty easy really. Without a whole lot of effort by anyone.
