And sadly, Lobster types watched this, and deemed it facts.

i’m sure there are instances of this sort of thing happening in both parties, but it’s awful troubling that the most qualified people to sit on these committees aren’t necessarily those chosen

Among those polled between the ages of 21-65; slightly below cockroaches, but still ahead of murder hornets.

Because he fights the fights that matter, Tucker has taken on the woke M&Ms! They are fat lesbian cartoon candies that don't wear high heels and go-go boots no more. And 'Merica is the worser for it. It has measurably dropped Tucker's testosterone level and mine as well.

If we can't fantasy sexualize cartoon candies, what are we fighting for 'Merica?

This is a Christian country, and Jesus wants cartoon candies to be more sexy.

He told me so last night in a dream.

He said it will increase the birthrate of real 'Mericans.
I saw the worst minds of my generation empowered by madness, bloated farcical naked,
dragging themselves through the whitewashed streets at dawn looking for a grievance fix.

He seems like a serious guy. What are the odds of him being celebrated on the Tucker Carlson show soon? I'll bet he ball tans.
A GOP congressman from Florida gifted his colleagues inert 40mm grenades to celebrate being named to the House Armed Forces and Foreign Affairs Committees.

Rep. Cory Mills on January 20 sent a letter welcoming his colleagues "to a mission-oriented 118th Congress," along with a dummy grenade. Mills said he was "eager to get to work for the American people" and was honored to serve on the committees.

"In that spirit, it is my pleasure to give you a 40mm grenade, made for an MK19 grenade launcher," Mills wrote. 'These are manufactured in the Sunshine State and first developed in the Vietnam War."

The letter to his colleagues assured them in a postscript that "these Florida manufactured 40mm grenades are inert."

Mills, a congressman backed by former President Donald Trump, in November won his seat in Florida's 7th Congressional district.

In May, Mills bragged about supplying law enforcement agencies with tear gas used against Black Lives Matter protesters. Mills has also parroted Trump's claims that the election was rigged, per the Orlando Sentinel.

Well this was certainly a plot twist.

Opinion : Republicans need to pivot on the debt limit. Here’s a winning demand.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... documents/
Republicans might not realize it yet, but they’re going to need an off-ramp in the debt limit fight they have picked with President Biden. Democrats are not going to allow the GOP to repeal all the massive spending increases they passed in the first two years of Biden’s presidency, and Republicans are not going to drive the nation’s economy off a fiscal cliff.

Republicans are not stupid. They saw the Fox News poll released Wednesday that found 80 percent of Americans think the economy is in poor shape, 74 percent believe we will go into recession this year and 61 percent blame Biden. Republicans are not going to cause a debt crisis that allows Biden to shift ownership of the weak economy to them.

But House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) can’t be seen as capitulating to Biden, or he will lose his speakership.

So Republicans are going to need a face-saving way out, something other than the deep spending cuts they are seeking in exchange for increasing the debt limit. They need a demand that will unite Republicans and divide Democrats — and one that Biden will have a hard time refusing.

There's a simple solution: [...]
Ok, let's pause here.

What is the conservative columnist's simple solution here? Balanced budget proposals? Spending cuts that affect pet causes on both sides (some pain for entitlements, some pain for military spending)? Some entitlement reform paired with taxes on only the hyper-wealthy?

There is no silver bullet (if there were, we wouldn't be at this point over and over), but surely this guy has something thoughtful to say?

Let's see:
There’s a simple solution: Instead of spending cuts, they should insist that the White House hand over all the classified documents found at his Wilmington, Del., home and his former office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington.
What? Huh?

Republicans are holding hearings to try to show that the FBI colluded with Twitter to censor the free speech of conservatives and hide the Hunter Biden story. All they managed to accomplish was to prove that twitter changed its rules to help Trump not get banned and received calls from Trump's White House demanding that a liberal voice be censored.

It's so great that, two days into the House loons' Looney Tunes hearings, they're resorting to calling as witnesses...Senate loons.

Just a perfect illustration of how the loons exist in a tiny (and shrinking) feedback loop.
