It is. Newell's broken that tape down several times.
It was even worse last year when dajuan and marcus garrett were out there together

Yes!

Going small with Wilson at the 5 and Lands in to score is what we should’ve done today when we went zone!

Rotations will be strange until he is.
Id still like to see yesefu get more of a chance. early this season he had no clue about our offense, and defense wasn't that good. it cost him minutes and a chance to get comfortable. but he is quick strong and explosive. and he can flat out get buckets, can beat his man 1 on 1. we need someone that can do that.

playing dajuan all those minutes all season made us look good so far and was a safe move against inferior competition but big 12 play is here and we need more talent and athleticism out there

he looked terrible in his 3 minutes today

I'm just not seeing anything from Yesufu.
It's been 14 games.
Pettiford injury actually may be slightly bigger than we thought it would be.

Yesufu has given absolutely no reason to think about redshirting Pettiford.

Don't think it's that big of an issue longterm, though. Remy just needs to heal up and Jalen's finally coming around. Those are where Harris's minutes will go.

And then run!

We're too content settling on half court sets. We're better in transition.

Not sure how Bill let Adams take that completely away from him. So much walking the ball up the court today.

Which, would seem like typical Bill Self getting McCormack involved, but he didn't even play him!

You have to get stops to run.

With Wilson at the 5 we were taking the ball out of the basket after giving up a layup too frequently.

Adams might be a genius. But a good middle school coach could game plan against KU if he had the players.

We addressed some of our weaknesses from last year, but those that remain are as glaring as ever.

And we don't force teams to adjust to us nearly enough.

If he could beat his man 1 on 1 then he'd be beating remy and DH in practice, which he's clearly not doing, because he doesn't get any minutes.

I mean. I hated this attitude. But roi would run after made baskets.

I wonder if old roi would come to practice and consult for a week or two.

Defense is a totally other conversation.

No idea why our bigs were pulling out of the lane so much against a poor 3pt shooting team that was hell bent on scoring in the paint.

It got us out of position so many times.

Roy also was frequently doing that with teams full of future NBA players

I am not confident about this team in March/April.

I bet a healthy Remy changes your mind in February.

The Mitch thing is worrisome, though.

Fran said Remy is as fast as Dotson. I'd say Harris is as fast as hinrich or boschee, Och and Braun are NBA caliber and Wilson's best strength is speed with the ball according to Self.

Play to your strengths.

Adds possessions, too, which is also key.

I really hope you're right about this. For all the dave/Wilson talk, Remy might be the one playing furthest below expectations. He was preseason cpoy.

Hasn't been beating guys off the dribble consistently. That's not Remy Martin.
