I’m out. Excited to see the judge now interested in the cover ups.

Only thing I care about from this trial, and can wait for the real deal.

And Nike schools all take a collective sigh of relief.

Are they though? Just because he was found guilty doesn't change the fact multiple witnesses testified to knowing of Nike paying players or their families, no?

Sure, but we already knew they were doing that....there wasn't anything quite as bad as what the Adidas trial contained. No Nike coaches texts or calls that I saw.

Only because Nike and their grassroots people weren't on trial. It was Avenatti. I have zero legal knowledge, so I probably am wrong, but wouldn't text messages from reps and coaches be thrown out simply because it has nothing to do with an extortion case?

I just don't think we've seen the end of Nike's role in all of this.

The question is, does Nike have enough money to fuck amateurism in the ass and pay off it’s accusers.

Not that Adidas didn't also...it was just bad luck. Could have just as easily been Nike.

Coincidently, I saw John Donahoe today. He has what would be one of my 100 most desirable jobs.

Had no idea where to post this. Why not here?
Once again, I find myself smiling when Snacks does a good job of repping Nike - which you can see if you click through all the pics.

I always get a kick out of that too, but hey, if Adidas wants him rocking Adidas gear 100% of the time then maybe they should sponsor him?
